Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.
USS Amundsen and USS Aldama pursue and root out a group of Klingon raiders responsible for harassing Federation supply lines in the Argelius Sector. Though both starships are too large to move freely in the asteroid field in which the Klingons have chosen to make their stand, their wide phaser coverage negates the smaller raiders' advantage of maneuverability. A nerve-wracking game of cat and mouse plays out in the dense field of rock and dust until finally Starfleet prevails, destroying all but one of the marauding Klingon warships.
Ships with nacelles like that have a 400% chance of exploding and taking other nearby ships along with them.
