Which GZDoom version was this targeted for? I'm getting all sorts of problems with the newer ones.

Hm, in version 3.1 there was a custom campaign that fitted the mod very well. Are there any plans on resurrecting it?

Please note that this is not the correct v19 firing sound, this is actually the v20 (or v17) sound. The v19 sound is the one that is closer to the original vanilla Doom sound.

What are the DarkForcesPatch.pk3 and JediOutcastPatch.pk3 in the zip? They aren't described anywhere, neither in the README, nor here.

This is perfect, however i would rather like to see weapon-only mod. So that i can load modded map packs that contain custom enemies, like Doom Tribute.

If i can't use Alliance.exe, how do i create a new pilot??

Well how do i switch between existing pilots or create new ones? The game from GOG comes with some existing pilot pre-set, but i want to start from scratch.

Nicei idea, but this map is pretty bad - no places to hide or take cover. I would imagine having something more like a fortress with windows and doors. Also not open from to attack from 360 degrees, but more like from 2 - 3 paths so it's defendable by 1 or 2 players. That would be more interesting imho.

I can open it up in x64dbg and try to extract as much details as possible about the context of the crash, but not now as i have a final exam before me. Sorry for replying late, the notification ended up in spam.

Yea, i'm sorry. I lost nerves, because i was searching for a long time how to return v19 plasma to newer BDs. I even asked few people if they can't do it, but nobody was willing to. There already was an addon for v20 plasma in v21. And now we have 2 of them and not a single v19 one. I'm ****** that i did not download this in time before it was changed.

Damn, i wish there was a simmilar lite version of Doom Tribute. Those maps are some of the best Doom maps i've seen, yet it's potential is grounded by glitching together with Brutal Doom and other mods.

Where can i find the changelog of the 20b?

NOOOOOOO!!! The v19 plasma was the best of them all. I swear i'll find this motherfuker Michalemodelcitizen and cram a rocket into his throat. We could have a nice v19 plasma but thanks to this troll we now have the boring overused v17 one that got it back to v20 for stupid reason and with no chance to get it back. Thank you idiot, you made the world a little worse again.

Thank you so much this is exactly what Doom needed. I have few questions though:
1. How does the weapon and ammo spawn? Can they be found in regular maps?
2. What's the difference between full metal jacket and armor piercing, because i haven't noticed any.
3. Is this also for Zandronum, or GZDoom only? And which particular version, because GZDoom development has gone crazy in the last year and every new version breaks something.

New GZDoom broke everything, nearly all of the mods now display badly. GZDoom development is going to hell recently, i would recommend staying with 3.3.1 or 3.4.2. Or if you really want all the new features, than search for vintage versions.

Hi, most of the ammo indicators are bugged in Brutal Doom v20, they always show 0. Can you please fix it? A lot of people including me prefer the v20 over v21.

Thumbs up for knowing when to stop. Sometimes it's better to just finish the mod and let the players fully enjoy and appreciate it. Brutal Doom is still pushing forward and and forward beyond all boundaries, even when it was basically finished in v19 or v20, and still adding new and new stuff, moving it further and further away from the original game, and imho becomming crappy.

I wanted to create an issue on github, but the Issues tab is somehow not there.

1. The port crashes on startup quite often, sometimes i have to run it 3-4 times before it let's me play.

2. It isn't possible to turn down the music at all. When i reduce the volume_music value in the config, the sound volume reduces too. When i reduce it via game menu, it is the same. Also settings no_music=1 crashes the game on startup everytime. Which means i always have to listen to loud music and there is no way around it.

I can deal with the crashes if they happen only sometimes, but the music ruins it for me, can you please fix it? Looks like a banality.
