But the Disney Lore it self cancels out the old expanded universe the dates would conflict, there is an old saying "If your trying to catch two hares/rabbits, you loose them both" meaning your trying to satisfy both the Legends fanbase and the Disney Canon fanbase but your going to run into problems for people who prefer the Legends canon over the Disney one and vice versa.
On to the "updated" deathstar plans. The deathstar plans is its blue print and the death star is already complete why would they have two plans if the death star is already completed?

But the events, characters, and the dates would conflict between either Legends Canon vs Disney Canon. Lets take Ben Skywalker vs Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) in Legends Canon he is Ben Skywalker and doesn't fall to the dark side while in Disney Canon he is Ben Solo and does fall to the darkside. Or if we take Rogue One in to account, we can't have two different people stealing the death star plans and both of them giving it to Princess Leia.

The Two Canons would conflict with each other unless you are making it to where if you complete objective that leads to Ending A or B which then leads to Ending A Legends Canon or Ending B Disney Canon.

Wait wouldn't the inclusion of the Force Awakens (and by extension Rogue One) cancel out the Star Wars Legends' storyline?

dude i would reconsider renaming your mod to progenitor virus instead of T-Virus. Because your backstory of your mod's virus is more related to the progenitor than the T-Virus. PS do you even know what the T in T-Virus stand for?
