No not for me. I'm too picky when it comes to games. And I enjoy seeing my money go to the developers who I think made a great game.

On the other hand I can see how it would give game developer teams more financial security for when they "miss" sale-wise with a game, in exchange for less money when they "hit". We all know it's very much a hit or miss in game dev.

Thanks for the solid feedback.

Regarding controls:
Legs (left&right; arrow keys) are for aiming precisely.
Torso twist is for fast and approximate positioning of you weapons.

Overheating:
Yes it is harsh. Those lasers are humungous! (sry this is how I want it)

Mech configuration: It's on the list for a sequel (NavBeta) maybe sometime. I'm only a newish hobby dev having some fun, and decided to leave configuration out.

I stayed away from Battletech/Mechwarrior IP, and made my own universe.

Yeah I soon come check out da forumz.

-Spread damage by twisting your torso
-Stomp on infantry and tanks to save ammo
-Mechs cool down best when walking or standing
-Running produces heat, but can help to evade enemy fire

Thank you, will be corrected now.
I thought similar games is was what belongs there.

Optical Ball is not related to Wizorb. It's just also a brick breaking game.

I like this.
An option to turn off the commentator voice would be nice.
I can imagine offroad courses+cars would work well, because the drifting is well done.

Sorry only 1st person view. This is a simulation. With 3rd person you can look around corners / over hills.

There was 3rd person view in the early days of the mod, if I remember correctly. It was removed.

Now 3rd person view only as a spectator.

woodsmoke - - 29 comments @ Ouya will it succeed? + or bust for indie

I think the PC is THE plattform for indie games.
Just like OUYA it has no licencing fees.
Most people own a PC or a laptop these days, so the userbase is alot bigger.

On the other hand developers have fixed hardware specs to write software, and you can control everything with only a controler. And its sth new, shiny and cheap.

I just hope it doesn't turn into a mobile-app ports + onlive plattform.

Just finished the game, I loved it. Great gameplay, features and artwork.
Sound didnt work out of the box (WinXP), but your readme.txt points this out and the easy fix.
I played Arkanoid, Amegas, and Crystal Hammer on the Amiga, this is easily just as good.

woodsmoke - - 29 comments @ Pinball Yeah!

Fun and original
Nice audio and visuals
But I think ball physics are missing sth, I'm guessing spin.
And tables feel clunky, missing curves
