I haven't checked in on this mod in forever. Wow! Such awesome new music. This is all going straight onto my wargaming play list.
I downloaded all of the tracks here on modDB and put them all into one file; fixed the title and artist meta-data; and threw in a credits file that includes LJEMusic's license info his sound cloud page as well as NewMessageN00b's soundclick page. Im on the mod team after all and we are definitely doing a January release, but knowing Kaveman means it'll be a Jan 31st release.

What I'm trying to suggest is that it doesn't become more inaccurate the more shots you fire. That regardless of whether you just shot 20 or 0 shots it still has the same accuracy. The body's natural movement will make it less accurate, but not with each shot, the body's natural movement will make it as inaccurate with the first shot as with the last.
In 2142 the accuracy of the Baur Assault rifle, for example, is never that good, even when you are standing completely still, so my thought is to make las guns less accurate than that, but give it no recoil.
Could it be recoilless but inaccurate? So even if you were standing completely still it strayed with every shot?
I cant wait to shoot the top of the radar dome!

They do in Dawn of War and in Firewarrior but all of the fluff I have ever read about them describes them as recoilless guns seeing as they are lasers. I would like to see it as a recoilless gun, though there'd be some balancing issues, to compensate you could probably just make it do less damage.

From what I've heard, on the tyranid mod forum, this mod is dead.
Of course it's a mod, it wont be like Mark of Chaos. And it is still alive, the mod is still working, it's just they never show their progress to any one, unlike the Tyranid mod.
This mod looks dead, C&C 3 hasn't even been out 5 months and the last update for this mod was 5 months ago.
For the Tau are you using the GW or Forge World models or both? FW definitely has better models.
So have you guys decided to put in a tech limit system, like in the old command and conquer games where you could limit it only to infantry, or just low tech tanks and infantry?

Why is it that you guys saw fit in your video of the convention to include music that contains swearing in it? It seemed pretty useless to do that.
Have you guys though about including technology levels like in the older Westwood RTSes? You know, so you can't get vehicles or build certaib buildings? As much as I love the the way Westwood adapted Dune, I still love to stay a little more true to the dune novels, all infantry battles. I could do that in Dune 2000, but not Emperor. Could you guys try and include that once you start work on modding C&C3?
