That is not the case all the time i have to say though. I just fought a battle with very stubborned papal-troops. Both sides lost about 900 and i just slightly won the battle. The AI is more willing to attack if i compress my troops more then the first battle settup. Maybe it is because they always want to flank and then understand how to put up a fight. Or some trigger that does not happen when lines are more stretched out.

I have played a couple of turns now in the newest release. I have to ask, is the ai fix included in that one? (1.1b) If not is it save-game compatible? The AI is sometimes just drawing back to a hill. Then let me attack before they charge or make manouvers just in front of my line, and become easy targets. Not much casualties from my side besides when their cav is shooting/charging.
For the record, i changed the stats in descr_projectile, and it is now more to my liking. More soldiers dies faster now.
Might be a very sensitive antivirus ive got. Even removed the exe file somewhere else. :-O And i believe you ofc. Never happened before..Yes i will use the howitzers again tomorrow and see if they fire then. Could be the circumstance that triggered them not to fire somehow. Will be more specific if i write again. cheers
I guess it is because i installed another mod the wrong way. Nothing to do with you tool or RotE. Regarding RotE and the new exe. my anti-virus prevented me from opening the exe. some IDP-generec does it say. Normal batch-file starts up as normal. and oh the howitzerz are either very slow at fire, or does not fire at all. I think this might be all for tonight. Sorry to bother you, but you might want to know.
Thank you! I will look into that. Agree about the damage, just that the battles lasting for a bit to long for my taste. When armies shooting at each other and almost none dies. I also having a hard time changing diffculty since my medieval 2 and rise of the eagles (only affected mod)is in russian all of a sudden. The issue here is that is to easy and the enemies routing after just 50 guys dies, and i have to fight the same battle over and over again. But again i will look into projectile-file and see if i can make them more deadlier.
Exelente! Another question, it is only the mass or formation of a unit that counts when another unit fires at them? Because in my opinion the killcount when fire at an oponent is quite low. I tried to increase attack but that barely helped. Hope you understand what i mean here. If you are of another opinion, and wont change anything, please tell me how to increase the killcount if you have a solution for it.

Does it randomly chrash for you right-clicking on some units?
How is the progress with this mod coming along? I know you have a lot of mods to deal with. Due to an language-issue with the newer 1931 mod i had to remove it, so this is now the only mod i can play in this time-period. edit: exept 1942 for rome of course.

Seems exactly like my problem, but that also occurs during game when clicking some unit cards. Frustrating to say at least.
Hi! I am playing DBM 1.0 plus patches. I have an error that did not occur last time i played what i can remember, and bugs me out. When clicking on some units (Illyria for example) it randomly crashes. Then i try and load the save again and it continue crashing. I have not seen this before and dont have any clue how to fix it, so some help would be appreciated. Have Laa and 4 gb since before. I have a lot of mods...

Great work! You have not thought about releasing the 1931 mod, or did you not get the permission for it? I for one prefer it more. (Guess i had contact with the same guy as you) Anyway i like you are still working on this rarity of a mod.

Great that you continue working on this mod. Havnt played it for a while. Hope things goes well with implementing newer buildings and textures for settlements. Is there a way for you to make the patches baked together as one with all the fixes? Maybe for next update? Thanks in advance.

I cant access the files after i download them. Just mirror links shows up and tell me that they could't load at the moment and i have to come back after about 24 hours. Never happened before so i dont know whats wrong unfortunately. Are they supposed to be only 2.61kb in size?

Ottoman captain playing cowboy, standing on his horse, and Ottoman Mortar moving like an ant. The crew dissapears when zooming in and reappear from distance. Also one member in the crew was standing alone in the far corner of the battlemap. Another fix when time for that comes.
After playing with multiple factions to test out the mod, i have to say that it is really god. I Love the battles were the AI isnt retreating to a hill and fall back all the time, which occurs in other mods. Instead the engage quick and more realistic for the time-period (when the idiots standing in lines and shooting from 50 meters...) No experienced crashes at all, wunderful! Anyway i have some issues:
The terrain were the rivers doesnt have any crossings, for example near russian Polotsk were forrest cover the crossing so armies cant cross it. Instead they have to walk around for miles after miles. I am on my way to recruit ships in the harbours, but they are also far away.
Regarding ships and ports, here is my other concern. I wish that more settlements have a harbour, or could uppgrade to build ships. For example Atnwerp which has a port, and could not build ships as far as i know. Ships and fleets that were a big part of the time-period warfare.
Algiers doesnt have a port, maybe could upgrade later on. Sardinia could not build ships. I know i am not supossed to play them, but wanted to see if they could join the conflicts in italy, sadly they couldnt.
Other stuff you already know, like names and unit portraits on some generals/family members. (spanish general for one)
Almost forgot one thing that i hope can be fixed. My damn generals dies of after the first turn, like Prussia for example. New candidates for adoption dies after i accept almost all the time. It gives at least me more pleasure to have more generals commanding troops, rather than captains.
I understand you are exhausted after releasing this and dont get me wrong, the mod is fantastic. For future fixes and patches, theese notes may come at hand for you. Cheers.

Some feedback unitwise. The crash may refer to Portugal Artillery. If included in a battle rooster the battle will load and then crash. Only cav and inf work.
Spanish Mounted Cazadores only horses without riders on a closer look. If seen from distance the riders appears again.
Naples Peasants silversurfers. (other peasants aswell but could not recall witch factions.
Persian Cavalry silvesurferhorses.
Missing unit card Hessian Generals Staff.
Missing unit card Hessian Artillery.
Sicilian Light Dragoons silversurferriders not horses.
Saxon General staff missing riders on horses.
Portuguese General staff, general standing on the horse rather than sitting.

Does anyone know if i for example change Persia to playable faction in Descr.strat file, is there somehow something that could lead to the game crashing? Are some factions meant to be "untouched"? :p
Works perfect now, (at first sight) only tested to end turn quickly a couple of times. Same with hotseat with all the factions, what is the issue there? The only thing there is to say is that you lose the campaign at start, but could choose to continue. Edit: i thought i could edit the message in the RotE file comments and thereby delete the log files but that was not possibly. If needed i hope the creator can remove them..

Hi! First things first, i love that u are back and making the final effort for this mod. Havnt been so exited for a mod for a long time. But please take your time, and dont hasten it, the wait is worth it in my opinion.
I wonder, du you consider the mod to be hotseat-compatible? Perhaps you already answered this question before. I had problem with getting hotseat to work for DaC V3, but somehow not in the first releases. If so, i hope you have the knowledge to get around the issue. I think im not alone in this regard.
