Completely agree with the views of this group, L4D2 would be much better off being released as an expansion, but since they are catering to console gamers who are used to standalone games and not expansions, they don't give a ****. The communited will also be divided between two different games, instead of a single game, with backwards compatibility

I buy games for the game itself, when I'm bored with it I check out mods.

No it's not, it takes a clip to kill a zombie, and its rate of fire is way too high so you waste ammo.

Fistfull of Frags has more polish than this, and it's in its first beta, Pirates, Vikings and Knights II had more polish than this in its first beta two. Both of those mods have more content too.

The ******* problem with the models not facing the right way is ******* annoying, how hard was it to fix that before release? Or at least put one more character model in? Also, it takes two ******* clips of pistol ammo to kill a zombie, why not make the weapons do more damage and make the zombies faster?

It's the server, not the mod.

For the people who's game doesn't show up in Steam, when you install, the installer directs to the wrong directory by default, you have to change/move the mod to the right one.
