Where should I start? I always felt drawn into different worlds, so dwelling in mapping editors was a way for me to live creativity. My first editor was actually the sandbox editor for Red Alert, but I evolved into more complex 3D editors of the UT Engine, which I got into in the year 2000 / 01. Actually, my first release is not available anymore, which is both good and a shame. Interestingly, I have only minimal knowledge about creating textures and making meshes, but I excel at imagining a vivid scene and its gameplay components. So while many of my maps often look like seen before from one point of view, they breath fresh air and play smooth or challenging, are hardcore and balanced. Mapping editor experience includes U-Editor (Engine 1 + 2.5), Dawn Of Warhammer ModTools and few more. I am using Photoshop for editing textures, making screenshots / previews and the like. And while I have never learnt any script language, I understand basic terms of code and interprete them.

Ah, thank you for seeing and answering the now (lost?) post.

I understand why Hannah didn't work out the first time around now. I did have humanity 4 with the Toreador.
Dirty Dishes seems a bit weird then, planned maybe but could be expanded upon. Feels a bit lackluster the way it has to be played right now compared to other quests usually offering multiple ways to complete them.
Will have to check Romero's quest, last time he said they should handle it like professionals and that was that, didn't talk to him after again.
Parking garage I will have to double check as well then. Wiki lists both stealth kill everyone and stealth without being seen as two optionals but if you sneak by with killing one guy (like that pesky guard near lvl3 entry) neither option is completed so it wouldn't award the points by that definition. However I do not know if you have changed that in UP or P+.

I like the map. It feels bigger than your average 256² map and it has a gimmick. You can go up and above with many req points, or you can go low with just a strat point and a relic, which makes for interesting decision making. It's also quite detailed.

Really fun map. Big size, enough space for things to move through. Base entries present choke points so it's not super easy to get in. Plenty of places to go, and some good cover points for infantry. Making it symmetrical must've been a pain.

Don't use this download. For now it's most likely broken as it's not accessing the race files, resulting in a warning of missing files. Use the manual installation files for Core files, then race files. Manually install the patch 591 after. That should fix the issues.

One of the best Doom³ mods around. Enjoy playing it on Veteran difficulty on the original release with 1.3.1 patch and the vanilla guns patch. Very easy installer, too.

Best looking version so far, and the added double shotgun is necessary over the major fail that the original doom3 shotgun is.
Unforturnatly, I've encountered a few bugs, too.

1) I've been having the same issue that Fady117 is having regarding the toggled run and crouching resetting itself every restart, even with .cfg edits. I still have to try setting this to autoexec, but it's still annoying.
2) This is an original sikkmod issue, I think. While most paralax textures look fine, I do have major issues with terrain applied ones, which seem to blur and float all over the place. Noticed this mostly on hell scape textures. Removing the file interaction.vfp from absolutehd/glprogs is removing the issue while retaining most of the surface quality improvements. Like I said, mostly an original sikkmod issue (running win10 / x64 with an nvidia 6gb graphics card).
3) Central Processing, had a major glitch here due to random encounters. An imp spawned beneath the final elevator, causing it to not halt at the final stop, instead returning to top. I was forced to noclip there. With a few random issues with random encounters as well, I actually cannot recommend the setting turned on.
4) This is an original sikkmod issue. With softshadows on, I'm having weird interactions between the weapon modes and the shadow renderers. This is mot notable on the machinegun which has a massive box that alters soft shadows. Removing soft shadows also removes this issue. Same issue with most SSIL options.

Still probably the most complete true-to-vanilla overhaul of Doom³, so I'm going to keep this. 9/10

Yeah, DoW enhanced gets you new units for the vanilla races while DoW pro's randomization system will only affect visuals in the way Luntek noted.
If there is an override, does it only override the specific code for that override or the unit / tech tree / building as a whole?

Would Soulstorm enhanced be compatible with the New Races mod? So I could have the additional units added to the various factions?

Other than that, here is another idea.
I know that DoW Pro uses a randomization system for vanilla units. It would be cool to see this implemented into Unification. I know it's a long shot and a huge amount of work, but it'd spice up the vanilla factions considerably.

Good to know there is something already planned. As for Tyranids, they're the last major faction missing in the game, so while the other chapters are welcomed, this is probably *the* mod quite everyone was waiting for. ;)

Still a fantastic mod and an essential one.
Not having any bugs or issues so far, using Turbo and 4GB patch. Loading times have increased due to strain on memory and system, but that's not too bad. No issues ingame so far. Using 9 race mods and usually playing with heroes wincondition. Love it!

One thing of note though, with unification 4.0 (or whenever those new backgrounds were introduced) I have trouble seeing the menu buttons and descriptions at times because of color overlapping from the backgrounds. I'd appreciate something less colorful in future releases.

Now there's only the Tyranid mod left to wait for. :/

I recently played through Thief again, and I've used the 1.2 verson of this mod. Had a fun time, the new textures and effects are much appreciated. Darn, even 20 years later this game is still scary as heck. Ran into an issue with the zombies, though. After they got up again, a lot of them were just t-posing, standing in place. They would still turn and look at me, just doing nothing (not even moaning). Creepy, but immersion breaking.

Oh, one thing I noticed as well, maybe you could make another check in the survival script - as soon as you hit T2, you get rushed by three Def Dreadz. They will wait if you are not T2 I think, haven't seen them before, but as soon as you hit T2 you get rushed by them. And not all factions have Antivehicle up and ready at that point - Chaos needs the Demon pit for Horrors for example.

about the bsp issue - it's possibly just a cutting problem. I assume you have checked the bsp cuts view and checked if any bsp obstrusion on the other side of your mentioned window caused the problem? Also, sometimes a transform all command (right click on brush frame -> transform) can realign cuts, but you'd have to reposition the brush(es).

It could be a small problem with external static meshes / textures shipping with the map. Make sure you have everything installed in its proper directories.
As for the map, I really like it. It's fun to play around, though the office area is really cramped and once you are in, you get easily pounded. The outside area is much easier to defend.
And it runs great, too!
