this mod having too many weapons is entirely off-putting because the entire time the ui is cluttered with so many different weapons, that essentially all do the same task as another one. i chose to keep the baretta, and after spending some time to find out that i cant limit how many weapons i pick up, i started to throw the usp out of my inventory every time i picked it up, but that in itself didnt help because nearly every combine assassin drops 2, so i end up picking up the usp and then the dual wield. in the end i ended up dropping the barreta because i was tired of having to throw out the weapons i didnt want to keep, just to keep my UI from getting bloated and having to find out which gun was in which area. i can only imagine how much more annoying it would have been if i decided to keep the smg2 instead of the smg1, since every enemy drops that same weapon.
the weapon bloat is entirely un-needed, so many weapons do the same thing that its not worth the hassle of keeping anything other than the base weapons + maybe a few others.
