I'm assuming you're referring to a new form, kind of like the vampire lord or werewolf form in that you physically look different. I have no knowledge of a god form at the present time; however, you will surely be able to look like a god and be as strong as one. Also, a bit of lore, The Tribunal, who tapped into the power of the heart, didn't physically change their form besides altering their skin color to look like the Chimer.

Ah, I see. I certainly would have drawn the same conclusion, but this is a very ambitious project and will require a fair amount of time to get it right. You have to keep in mind, that not only is Di0 creating a unique domain for each of the Daedric Princes, but he's researching lore, making new assets, writing story, doing a perfect job of landscaping, world-building, creating creatures, scripting very unique and well-built scripts, rigging models, weapons, armor, weathers, etc. It's a very demanding project and we all appreciate the vast amount of time(4-7 hours a day according to himself) that he's dedicating to the project. We hope you'll continue lending your support while following the project and that you'll play once the mod is released.

This mod is still being worked on. Di0 post regular updates here. I'm unsure as to where you're getting that date, but the release date will be announced at a later time. The last time this question was asked Di0 answered, "Hoping for 2017, if not 2018 [release date]."

The scope of this mod is, "Awakened in the TES purgatory, you are tasked by an ominous presence to scour the realms of Oblivion to destroy the 16 Daedric Lords, and assemble the Heart of Lorkhan. What you choose to do and how you do it is up to you." I'm not going to go into details, but I don't think you'll be disappointed. However, I'll give you some lore. Defeating a Daedric Prince isn't a permanent thing. Azura, Hircine, Mehrunes Dagon, and Molag Bal have all been defeated on Nirn. They all came back. Jyggalag, Mehrunes Dagon, and Molag Bal were defeated in their realms and came back. All Daedra are immortal. Aedra, on the other hand, are not immortal since that's the price they've paid for their part in creation. So, killing Akatosh would plausibly break time itself and result in an infinite dragon break and even possibly opening up the gates of Oblivion for all of the broken time. I'll also remind you that even a god can be defeated... The Tribunal used the heart of Lorkhan and were strong enough to hold back the empire, Akaviri, and even the Daedric Princes. And, yet they're all dead, with a possible exception to Vivec. Lorkhan was the incarnation of Sithis itself and he's died a few times as well.

Seeing as how his realm is an extension of himself, perhaps, after regaining his power, Vile was able to pull Umbriel back into his realm? Or perhaps it was bound to fade back into Vile's realm eventually? Meridia and Molag Bal have also shown their ability to move their realm, or pieces of it, to various parts of Oblivion.

If you're referring to Umbriel, no. Umbriel was a piece of Vile's realm separated by Umbra, of whom had a portion of Vile's power (elbow horn). The novels end with Umbriel being absorbed into the realm of the Hist. Vile's realm is a docile countryside that is only a few miles wide during that time period. He would have rebuilt some of his realm by now, but probably not all of it. Apotheosis's version will fit the description of Redguard and that one paragraph from the novels.

There will be many artifacts for the player to acquire, some of these will indeed be new armors and weapons.

That model is also straight from Oblivion. I expect that mod to be taken down very shortly. Also, the file does not allow others to use the Jyggalag model.

I'm glad you decided to use it-I think the theme fits the Mistress of Shadows well! (New Season is almost here-can't wait#^#)
Also, very interested to see what dark twist you'll give to the "happier" realms (Vile's and Sanguine's)(and you've almost featured all the prince's domains! So close-keep up the good work)

any chance you could share your models in a modder's resource? I keep trying and failing to convert the witcher files.

Nickorasu - - 44 comments @ Deadlands (Oblivion): Chimera of Desolation

Glad to hear! And that's understandable seeing as there is a 400(+) year time gap. Most of those wooden buildings would be next to non-existent seeing as how there is no wood to rebuild them with.
And from a design standpoint, recreating the levels from Battlespire wouldn't be best. The Soul Cairn was seen in Skyrim and Battlespire and it looks noticeably different as well.

Will this realm contain any architecture from High Rock?

reason for question/lore source:
"The Chimera of Desolation is a small, lordless realm created by Mehrunes Dagon, who threw Caecilly Island (a small island off the coast of Northmoor) into the void as an act of revenge against Chimere, a mortal conjurer living there. The abandoned town of Trybador still stands on the desolate island."
