Description
In the Dreamsleeve, the undead flock to the Cathedral seeking refuge from it's debilitating effects on the mind; forgetfulness, loss of soul, going hollow. The Cathedral takes them in, and provides refuge to those in need.

This is the place of ascension?
It's the hub area for the Dreamsleeve, works in a very similar way to Firelink Shrine/Nexus in Dark Souls/Demon Souls. After defeating every Daedric Lord, the player respawns here. The area attracts NPC's with their own ongoing stories, merchants, etc. This area branches off into three directions where the player is free to choose where to go, and which portals to go into.
