Not recommended. After ~3/5 min in game, the game automaticly decides to decontruct ur own capital. with being defeated as a concequence. no matter which civ u play. had it with rohan, gondor and the dwarves. after that. just deleted it and went back to age of the ring. way less bugs.
Would it be possible to like, implement the ring in war of the ring?
Like, sometimes there would be a little popup from where it was last sighted, and when u attack that area and capture it, u keep it untill someone else steals is from ur ring hero.
(So instead of having to capture it each match, just keep it when u have conquered it etc)
More meant teams, not humans.
like in skirmish, u can set the AI on team 1,2,3 and 4.

Ive also noticed as for harad, that i was unable to build the mumakil.
i was playing on the 4 player, castle, mirkwood map (Official map)
Against 3 mordor. all 3 rush AI.
Ive done all upgrades, and builded all hero's
Yes im only playing official maps, the only Ai that gives a small fight is mordor, all other AI civs are easy to defeat since they just spam basic units.
Is the AI bugged?
No matter what setting i put them on, they seem to be really weak and not really doing anything. is there a way to improve this?

Just saw this post and im really looking forward to see the infantry units for the seraphin and the fortress/ outpost buildings. would be really cool to have those (on my mind it was the missing part ever since the release of the game)

Hey, i was playing this mod bc it said it would slow down in time. Im just 15 min in and its already damn slow. (1 min ingame costs 7 min in reallife) i just play vs 3 AI cheating x5.
(It even crashed after 25 min ingame time)
Next to that. The speed up function doesnt work anymore. Only the slow down function. (-10 till 0 works normal, but 0 to +10 doesnt effect the game)
Further more i noticed that the AI wasnt really building any navy as where in the normal game, the AI would spam navy units. (Shard map)
For other people that make the same mistake; i found an solution to this problem.
Go to ur save file location, (make sure u backup it incase u want to go back to edain / the 5.1).
Than, delete everything in there and restart te game.
Check ingame if ur hero's are all deleted, if they are.
u can start a game again.

Hey, i found a bug when playing imladris in horde maps, u become unable to upgrade ur units bc of eregion which cant be placed in buildings in those maps.
And, i cant build any hero's in hordemaps.
I found a new bug the text in the barack that says how to upgrade the barack in levels is still the old text. "by building the library it upgrades to lvl 2, by unlocking all 3 spell books upgrades to lvl 3" r something like that. which is now, incorrect.
I know how to use a costum hero. I can use him with both lothlorien and gondor but not with rohan nor imladris.
A friend of mine has the same problem
Both rohan and imladrish cant use "own made" hero's

Hey, its easy;
1. Open the "age of the ring Mod" file.
2. Install "202_V8_full"
3. Open the installed patchswitcher "2.02 Switcher"
4. (To go from "Age of the ring" to "Edain")
4.1 Set "main" from "2.02 v8.0.0" to "2.01"
4.2 Enable edain on the launcher.
4.3 Start the game by opening the normal "the rise of the witch-king" file.
5. (To go from "Edain" to "Age of the ring")
5.1 Set "Main"from "2.01" to "2.02 v8.0.0"
5.2 Disable edain on the launcher
5.3 Start the game by opening the "age of the ring" file.

I found an bug when playing isengard.
If u build 5+ forts and 5+ armory's u get an discound of -102% on unit upgrades, BUT than the game bugs and u CANNOT UPGRADE any unit anymore.
When will 6.0 be released?

2. Delete everything except the "options" and "Maps" file.

Well i found some kind of bug. Because i dont think it is balanced.
The gondor slingshot's can shoot further than any other slingshot's.
when they attack any fortress that has slingshot on it, the fortess slingshot just cant hit the gondor slingshot.
Even jsut normal non fortress slingshot's have to move to hit the gondor slingshot's. Even ents cant hit the slingshot's without moving towards them.
Normaly the best "anti-slingshot"strategie is to destroy them with ur own slingshot's, but because of the great range advantage of the gondor slingshot they cannot be beaten with this strategy, the only way to defeat them is by horses or infantrie, which in turn can be easly owned with just some anti-cav (spearman) or anti-infantrie (Archers).
Can this please be fixed?
Because this makes gondor the most OP nation, just attack with slingshot's and spearman and no army will be able to defeat the slingshot's before they destroyed the enemy fortress.
(When playing against brutal gondor u see they take advantage of the "unbalance" by spamming those at ur base)

Nevermind, i fixed the game. its working now
btw, i just went trough options, and when i look at options i see "age of the ring version 3.1" instead of "age of the ring version 4.0" which i downloaded and installed.
