You can bypass the download limit thing by creating a shortcut to the file you want to download onto your drive, putting the shortcut into a folder alongside some other unrelated file (empty text file, image, etc.), and then downloading that folder.

Does anyone know of a way to increase the FOV limit past 80? I've put xrGame.dll into a hex editor but I'm not seeing anything. I get dizzy playing at anything below 90.

Just a heads up, I think you can fix the "not being able to start the main quest" problem by doing this:

1) Open "ui_mm_faction_select.script" from the mod.
2) Add "drx_ql_task_funcs.drx_ql_init_questline( faction, start_pos[2] )" somewhere after line 257.

I managed to get the dialog that starts the main quest to pop up. No idea if this introduces other problems, though.

The Dark Signal devs said they intended to port the quests over to their modpack, but they've gone into hiatus since then. Other than that, I don't think anyone else has tried to port DoctorX's stuff over to other engines/mods.

Anyone know what specific settings you need to set when converting audio files? I'm trying to add custom music to the main menu but it crashes every time with this:

I know it has something to do with the audio rate, but vanilla music files set to 44.1 kHz work, which completely confuses me.

I'm using Audacity. Stereo, 32-bit, 44.1kHz. Also put the file through the X-Ray Sound Editor which didn't work.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm a retard. I wasn't setting the project rate so the exported audio still came out at 48kHz.

It's alright. Considering the lack of documentation for the CoC-XRay engine (let alone the 1.5 version) and how scattered the source code is from what I've seen so far (AFAIK), I can understand the pain. Makes me wish the devs wrote even a little bit of documentation before leaving.

Ah well. Until someone can figure it out, I'll just have to remember not to directly drag and drop stuff.

Alright, I'm stumped. With Mazhra's Package v1.2.2, game crashes whenever I try to directly swap certain weapons in the inventory. This happens with the G36 and G36C; haven't tested it yet with other weapons.

Hello. I just wanted to post this in case anyone else has this problem occurs. For some reason, the xrRender_R1.dll in Lost Alpha Revisited (and LB's Comp, I presume) is borked on my end -- all character models become corrupted when playing on static lighting.

Using the original xrRender_R1.dll fixes this.

You're welcome. As for the textures, I have Classic Textures installed and had the texture quality way down. It also fixes the horrendous 2K tree texture that tanks your FPS no matter the texture setting since I don't think it has mipmaps.
