Hey everyone, long time no update (and no bannerlord release). Still recruiting texture artists, modelers and animators for the project. I also neglected to mention in the initial post here and on the forum that I am a senior software engineer in the games industry and would be handling things on the programming side of the mod.

Looks incredible! Did you use Slate for the PDA? It looks really good.

Unless you can solve the horrible texture pop-in issues with CE3 this is going to fail miserably.

Getting Low FPS / Stuttering

Specs:

no problems on Call of Pripyat vanilla or misery 1.0

like I said, no problems on Call of Pripyat vanilla or misery 1.0

The problems I've encountered in the release so far are:

1. Low FPS / Constant Stuttering (no probs in vanilla/misery1.0)
2. Random CTDs in certain areas (haven't tried using dx9 instead yet)
3. Insane prices on every item, whether trading with traders or random npcs (8000+ RU for a single ration? really? this cant be intended..)
4. Mouse freezes while in the main menu constantly, only fix is alt-tabbing
5. NPCs detecting and then shooting you THROUGH walls and insanely far distances (someone has said disabling hardcore ai or whatever in game options fixes, havent tested yet)

This game is great! awesome work.

I had the same exact problem, if I changed a certain setting in graphics (dont remember which one) game would crash at startup every time. To fix it I had to delete user.ltx in MyDocs/Call of Pripyat and replace it with the backup misery user.ltx , try that and see if it starts up. After that I just told it max settings, restarted, been playing with no problems ever since.

I'm sold, both Hitman and Freedom Fighters were fantastic and unique games that others still can't really match up to this day, you guy's rock.

Hope you guys port your content over to the latest version of the engine (arrowhead), great work. Was a huge fan of the Finland WW2 mod for Operation Flashpoint: Resistance.
