this is not the official or the latest version of GZDoom. You should get GZDoom from its official website, not this weird outdated re-upload.
Windows Defender is judging the file as virus and deletes my download. Version 2.0 without the fix does seem to work though
Not bad, but it is only visible when a dynamic light is near. Without a dynamic light, the texture looks flat as usual. But there is a way to permanently reflect a cubemap on the textures, which can make the blood decals look always wet and less flat.
Can you take a look at this mod and maybe add the same effect to your mod? I think it would make the blood look much better:

I'm having the same problem as the guest. The game gets stuck in hte loading screen when entering the tunnel to the third map.
Also nice map design, I like the details and the exploring. But you really have to add some soundscapes. Total silence really decreases the atmosphere a lot
You worked on this mod over a motnh but had no time to but a short description about what the hell this actually replaces? Soundstracks? Weapon? Monsters? Something else?

It doesn't really relate to Brutal Doom though. However, is it possible to add specular maps to BD's blood textures to make them look more like fluids?

I found a sequence-break by rocket jumping to the double-jump, though this can also get you stuck if you rocketjump into the underwater temple.
Btw, you posted the map under "addons", instead of "files". Addons is for user made customizations of a mod :)
Is it intended that when you pick up a second pistol, it shares the ammo loaded in the other pistol? Because I had two pistols with 3 shots, and after I shot one empty, the other one was too.
I'd say the game is rather easy when you properly manage your inventory. Hit detection isn't bad either. Just be careful when fighting and you don't have to fight either. You can often run past them or take them out carefully. Manage your inventory properly and you will have enough health.
You just load it instead of totalchaos.pk3. You have to keep the tc_core files though. Mind that that your save file is likely uncompatible.
Try disabling the radar if you havn't, it takes up most resources.
I'm not gonna download something just to see the screenshots. Just add them via the common insert-media function like on every other internet forum.

disabling bloom and shadow maps can give you a boost, besides that, reducing resolution helps a lot but can look bad.
Using the low-resolution textures should not give any performance boost, so the ultra.bat file isn't much more demanding than the others
You should use v21 of brutal doom. v20b doesn't work with gzdoom 3.5.1 afaik
Use v21. It's more optimized too and if are desperate for frames you can turn down decals and gibs to a minimum.
hey I noticed that real time reflections are a big performance hit. Maybe you can disable them with r_drawmirrors 0.

edit the .bat files, and just add %* at the end. Place all gameplay mods you want to try in the folder (I have brutal doom as you can see) and now you can just launch the gameplay mod by dropign them onto the .bat
Hey, if you add "-file %*" to your .bat files script, you can simply launch gameplay mods by drag-n-droping them onto the bat files.
This makes launching mods easier for beginner. Everything that was drag-n-droped onto the bat file be filled in where the %* is. May only work if the mod is in hte same fodler though
