I am so sorry to ask such an obvious question, but, is Divide and Conquer compatible with Reforged Edition, or just the original Third Age: Total War game?
Thanks for responding :)
And P.S; If there Knights of the Nine thing every becomes an official release, I'll gladly download it :D
Heyo :D I have a question about some of the new units in the upcoming 2.0 Release...Will there be any new / buffed units that can even compare to the blades? So far I've yet to find a unit that can 1v1 the blades and win. I've only ever managed it by practically cheating (these are custom battles) and spamming max upgrades and multiple units in a "1v1".
I think the Knights of the Nine were awesome, and am sad they were removed, but I remember they were more powerful than even the blades. I'm just wondering if we'll get more "special" units :))
Mhm. I thought about Oblivion and where the first siege took place, Kvatch, and I had three armies there before I even hit turn 145. The armies were freshly retrained out of conquests in Hammerfell, Morrowind, and the Summerset Isles. It was an easy fight
That was my main concern.
Hey guys, been a while, but, I've got a few questions about 2.0.
Well, let me start by asking this;
AI - Every faction with the exception of I believe Wayrest seem to have the "Despicable" reputation. Is this a Vanilla AI thing? Also, for some reason, when I march through certain provinces, like Cyrodiil, I get negative relations. I've checked, we're allies, have trade rights, map information, and Military Access. And my last point here, is the different kingdoms being war-like. Will these things change?
Armies - From the AI, I'm now moving on to armies. Skyrim seems to have a severe lack of Calvary, which, to be honest, as do many of the different factions. Hammerfell probably has the best Calvary. Is this due to their physical locations? And to close on the Armies, I'm nearing the Oblivion Crisis. What should I expect in terms of army sizes and strengths? Will the units be trained, or fresh out of creation? Need to know what to prepare for.
Locations - Will we see more unique locations? I know for sure that we're going to see Clockwork City, but what about others? Like possibly a unique Whiterun?
Generals - Much like the last subject, will we see any diversity in in-game General Avatars? I mean we obviously have unique ones such as faction leaders, but, I mean more along the lines of the generic generals.
(LAST) Mercenaries - This is more looking at the 4th Era Campaign. Factions like the Blades, Dawnguard, Skaal, and Companions have been severely down-sized. Will they still be recruit-able? Thanks :D
I just finished a campaign, and, I conquered all of Tamriel. It still has the vanilla ending for it, talking about Alexander the Great, the Romans, etc. Will this be changed in 2.0, to have a custom ending?
I know I've asked before, and I'm pretty sure DaedraWarrior said NO, but, will the Knights of the Nine be added back in, at any point? They were pretty cool to use in Custom Matches.
Hello developers of this amazing mod, I wanted to stop by for some help. I've been playing your mod very often, and I've experienced an issue. It is prone to crashes. It doesn't give me an error message, or reasoning for crashing. And, it's not the battles I don't think, because I experience 0% lag. Help?
Idk if you guys take in requests or anything along the lines of that, but, I wanted to ask about a possible addition to the Custom Battles of TESTW. It'd be really fun to see possibly;
1) Akavirii Faction | I know this wouldn't make any sense to be a part of the Campaign, or even the game, but, it'd be sort've fun to re-play parts of the Akavirii Invasion of Tamriel.
2) Dwarven Faction | Again, I know this wouldn't make sense as a part of the campaign, but, it'd be fun to play as them in custom battles. I know from playing this mod that you guys have added factions that are un-playable in campaign, yet playable in Custom.
If either of these things could ever happen, please, let me know, I'd gladly play it!
(If this has already been implemented, please let me know)
Is it a possibility in the future, to play as the Daedra or as the Undead in the Campaign? I feel like it'd give all of our "darker" sides a chance to shine in the game ;)
Also, I'd like to mention, that I am extremely pleased with 1.5. The Imperial Legion Cohorts were amazing to see on the battlefield (Swordsmen / Pikemen / Archers). I asked about having something like this for a long time, and it finally came.
Lastly, I'd like to ask about two things.
1. Imperial Legion Calvary, aka, Calvary Units with the same models of the Imperial Legion Cohorts, so in this case, an, "Imperial Legion Cohort(Heavy Calvary" unit would be nice.
2. I don't know if this'd be possible at all, but, I'd like to see maybe an Akavirii Faction? If not, possibly a faction for the newest mercenaries (Consists of a Javelin Unit, Archer Unit, and Spear Unit, they look like Snow-Elves almost lol).
Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I just saw the image for the retextured Imperial Swordsmen, and I am VERY pleased with this. Thank you!
Really quickly, I wanted to say what an amazing job this modding team has done, and I really appreciate it. But I also wanted to ask about an issue. My gameplay doesn't have any sound at all (when running TESTW), and I've tried everything I can think of. I've gone through Volume Mixer, Sounds, the game Launcher, In-Game Settings, as well as my PC settings. Any recommended fixes?
I wanted to ask about a bug, issue, that I'm having with the game. I've already tried the launcher, and in-game settings for this, but, I have no audio when I'm playing the game. Everything else works perfectly fine, but, no audio whatsoever.
jKmart, I would like to talk with you about your sub-mod here. One thing I wanted to ask about, was the Imperial Soldiers, basically, several of the units share the exact same skin. For example, the town guard, and the legion footmen, both are identical. I was wondering if that was intentional, and if it would change. The same goes with many Skyrim units. The heavy swordsmen are the same skins as the guards. Now, it isn't something major that ****** me off, but, it is as little saddening. The only difference in the imperial's soldiers, is the shield coloring. Anyways, something additional to that I was hoping to ask. IF you are going to make the Skyrim faction Stormcloak Themed, as you have, why not retex the General, to make him look more like Ulfric Stormcloak? Thanks for the time, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Wow, this mod is progressing amazingly. I've been playing since the first week of 1.2's release, and when 1.4's news came around, I took this comment section by storm. LoRdNazgu1, you and the others who have brought this experience to Medieval 2: Total War deserve far more recognition. Not only have I had little-to-no-issues, I have also had the privilege of being able to say, I love this mod. I do not even have to ponder, this is indeed the greatest mod I have played. Thanks for the experience, and I cannot wait until I enjoy it further.
Thanks for letting me now, and glad you added the "for now". Keep up the amazing work, as I have said before. This mod is amazing, mid-playhthrough with Skyrim now xD
LoRdNazgu1, DaedraWarrior, I was just looking back at some old modded videos that I used to watch, a few of them TESTW. In those videos, they took place in the time as Skyrim. Or, at least, Ulfric Stormcloak was one of the NPC's. Is this the custom campaign? Or something different? Thanks for any and all feedback!
Ok, thanks for the feedback. I just was kind of bummed to find out that the Kingdom of Skyrim didn't have a really powerful unit similar to the Knights of the Nine, the Blades etc. DaedraWarrior, TheWitherBoss876
DaedraWarrior, again I ask about a Dovahkiin unit. As you said you wont be re-adding the Thanes, but their model was like the Dovahkiin from Skyrim. I really must press the Idea of you guys finishing that model and making a Dovahkiin unit out of it. I know not to expect something like that soon, but down the line.
DaedraWarrior, I actually think you'd be able to add shouts in a way. Just give the Dovahkiin unit magic. Again, please consider this idea. I'd really love to have him as a friend!
DaedraWarrior, thanks for getting back to me. If Thanes will not be added however, is it possible to finish their old model, and make a Dovahkiin unit? Considering that in the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you're Dragonborn. Obviously things such as shouts couldn't be added, but said Dragonborn could be a difficult challenge to kill. If added to the campaign he'd have to be a late game unit. Thanks for the time, appreciate the feedback!
0_0, someone's been swamped. I just wanted to ask about a few things. In custom battles, is there a way to get heroes? Like Ulfric, Talos, etc. Also, two of the units removed in 1.4, the Thanes, and the Knights of the Nine. Is it at all possible you guys could re-add them? I loved the Knights, and was hoping you'd finish and buff up the Thanes some as they weren't very strong. I'd appreciate the feedback, hear from you soon!DaedraWarrior
While I doubt I could do as good, why do the images look like nothing from the movies or books of Narnia? Was that just all you wanted to do before releasing v.1?
Your profile picture. I know you said expect it to be buggy, yet again I do understand, but hopefully you come back and make this mod into a legendary mod, as was its predecessor. I am hopeful you find the time, and the love to pick this back up. Thanks for doing what you have, as many have tried to do similar things, and failed. You succeeded and for that you gain my ultimate respect!
Leikeze, I agree with everyone. You are an amazing author, and we all truly appreciate your work. Please, I agree that slow work is actually good, if you look at the big guys like Bethesda, they rushed things like Skyrim, and now it has a ton of cut content. I'm glad you took the time, the patience, and the love of Narnia into account when you built this mod. Also, is that picture from a Narnia mod in Skyrim? The background looks like Helgen keep.
Hello again Leikeze, I was just wondering if anything at all has changed in this mod's condition. According to this site (Mod DB) this mod hasn't been updated since early July. I really and hoping that this mod doesn't end up dead like so many other mods. This is the first and only time I've ever seen anyone try and make a Narnia conversion mod. Please hit me back and tell me something good!!!
OrmirOfSkyrim, I just wanted to ask a few things. In this mod, will we be able to see and participate in things like the Skyrim Civil War? Will we follow the path of the Dovahkiin or will we meet him as another NPC, and lastly, what guilds are you placing into the world?
produno, I need your assistance. I just downloaded the latest file abailable and it crashes in the load screen saying something about textures and then crashes. Please get back to me.
Leikeze, ok man thanks for the awesome feedback!!!
