similarly If i knew how i'd probably make shockwave artillery tied to the juggernaut to take advantage of that cool arc fire animation it does. better yet, I'd have the snipers automatically use it with a decent cool down or... perhaps have them switch modes (thinking outloud now)

limiting options is the idea. it promotes tactical thinking. It's also lore building a little bit.

I had a neat idea that i'd try to do with how the kodiac deploys and since the way you deploy yours is simlar to what I envisioned i figured i'd share the idea:
the shockwave artilery/orbital bombardment (one or both, whatever) are availiable OR you deploy the kodiac. deploying the kodiac dissables the support powers, the logic being because it IS those support powers. fun eh? steal it if you want. Kane knows when i'll get around to modding this game

GDI's mechs, I think you're on to something with NOD yesteryear units such as the MLRS, maybe give them some modern day MBTs? I'd move the GDI missile tank to NOD since it's a M113 chassis

It occured to me probably the best way to salvage the mod is to downscale everything

honestly: adding the gundam forces into the firestorm mod seems pretty balanced
to prevent an absurd unit roster list I'd make heavy use of the veterancy system
if the engine allows it, have units transform into better units as they level up
have the GP01 be a very long recharch skill for the gundam unit

make the cannon OP units be support powers only, like airstrikes so you can't directly control them

I think the biggest problem with our magnificent devs is they were too ambitious

Fantastic mod from what i'm seeing. I really like how powerful the Titan walkers are and that they only deploy via sidebar power. I don't think it would be out of line to do the same with the wolverine

there's currently unused missile launch tubes on the kodiak, would be perfect for multiple mortar launchers

this mod makes me wanto try my hand at modding this game, so far i've only made stellaris mods

I wanted to see about making MARV and mammoth walker buildings
i.e. the advanced building MARVs build from, but in the defense tab
once built they'd deploy their respective units and then destruct

out of curiousity how versatile is the veteren system and modding with tib wars?
I had an idea to make barracks purely research/support buildings and have transports exclusively how infantry are deployed

with that I was leaning towards gunner infantry with a flame confessor and two rocketeers
here's where veterncy would kick in: they can upgrade into a cyborg squad once they're rank is high enough and preq upgrades are researched

On the off chance you guys haven't figured out what you did wrong yet or czech back here for answers: if you don't get an overwrite file prompt then you're not extracting/copying these files over into the correct directory.

This probably requires a new game to work correctly btw

that's because there's ALOT of tyranids spawning in at once and they're using their boost ability immediately and they're very very fast and they're crashing into eachother and exploding. it's pretty amazing to see when you're actually abel to see it with a probe and no lag. yer best bet is to turn down your settings. this mod will mess your lag up. it's got alot more ships on screen than vanilla

are the other ARK ships faction specific to the admechs as well? the mars carrier is pretty obvious, but the ark fabricator looks like it belongs to whichever one is that nomadic space faring admech faction yes?

given steam's loose and clumsy method for calculating "hours played" vs having an open main menu or adjusting settings etc, the afore mentioned method of demo-ing a game is about the best option we have. I think the last decent demo version I played was FFXVs and before that way back to act of war high treason

I rather enjoy that you added chapter specific BBs in. It's a lore friendly way to build our own narrative since rescripting the campaign to give chapter specific fleets is still not an option.

I'm referencing the new ships list to make sure each chapter gets the right BB. I'm a stickler for storytelling
