Description

V.1.8.1 "Indomitus Crusade against the Greater Good". This version of the Skalgrim mod is the largest expansion to date. More than 30 new ships, Mega Titans and Titans take to the void to do battle. And thanks to the amazing work of JonathanZotack, several new models and ships could be devised thanks to him- and new aestethics could be added to current ships (SM and IN especially benifit from this with new ornaments). The long awaited overhaul of Tau fleets is also done. (Includes hotfix for Ork texture error.)

so, the mechancius ships wont use the plasma cutter, I dont know why but its just never used and ive never seen it fire from the mechancius light cruisers. Is this a bug or is it my game specifically?

No, there was game mechanic problems with the ship model that made it impossible to balance at the moment.

Updated the file with a hotfix for the missing Ork (Mega Roks) ships. Want the textures fixed - redownload. Either reinstall everything or just the "X-models" folder in the Pak folder. Save friendly (for campaigns already started with 1.8 version. )

Im having same issue. Your logo comes up. Has the correct version on it. Then once im in the game, its the normal vanilla version.

My guess - you are trying to play on an old save with a mod that needs new campaign start for maximum stability.

Then I don't know. Vanilla game is not 100% stable for some people. My mod doesn't actually change any of the core game settings or mechanics, so shouldn't affect that.

I had a similar problem with the previous version, and I think late game save stability depends largely on how heavily you customized your campaign in regards to size.

It should be -NoEAC in the launch options. They always start with a hyphen.

There is an issue loading the sanctuary world/mission for every faction, pretty sure there is a texture or model that breaks the game, I can confirm on two different computers with 3 full re installs that this will cause a crash 100% of the time for all factions, if you remove the x-models folder you can load everything else fine, once you complete sanctuary you can put the folder back.

Yes this has recently been discovered to be the problem. Most likely its something about the Craft World model itself. Looking into a fix for it for the next version of the mod.

I'm confused -- when I open the "stock" folder on your mod, it comes up empty. Am I supposed to put the stock game version into it?

yes that is exactly what you are supposed to do and what is written in the installation instructions. The stock IE "vanilla" .pak file that is in the Paks folder is supposed to go into the added Stock folder that the mod creates. Its a must to get the mod to work.

are the other ARK ships faction specific to the admechs as well? the mars carrier is pretty obvious, but the ark fabricator looks like it belongs to whichever one is that nomadic space faring admech faction yes?

edit: I just realized the speranza is still missing. how's that going btw?

bro I have a problem! I followed the installation guide step by step. (I even prayed to the Omnissiah 5 times) and I have a bug that some Skutari ships come out as an empty key .. and I do not see the new space marines ships .. however when I start the game I see the window with Skalgrim Mod and in the Empire campaign the Admiral's ship is more powerful! Kill any ship of chaos with a salvo what in vanilla not towards XD is it some bug?

Either you have not followed the installation instructions, most likely the part about moving the .pak file. Or you are not using english as a game language. The mod only has support for english. Or a combination of both.

Lacking ships is 100% of the times due to not installing it correctly.

A quick question, there is an SM Titan that cost 1,450 but the limit of a fleet is 1,500. And there is no ship under 50 can be used for the flagship. How am I supposed to get that Titan in the campaign, please?

You need to run a custom campaign size with +10% or more in fleet size.

Hello! I want seek some help with a possible glitch. During the mission "protector of the seventh path" (the one that you have to protect the Craftworld against inquisitor Darkhammer), The game would just shutdown once I clicked "Launch mission". I'm wondering if there's some ship in the enemy fleet that causing this problem. Thanks!

Its a known error - working on a fix for it for the 1.9 release. Possible solutions to it are posted in several of the threads here on moddb and in the Discord channel.

Then you didn't follow the installation instructions. You say you did, but most likely you missed one crucial step - moving the .pak file into the correct folder most likely. If you look around here in the thread you'll see me give the same replies to a ton of people, many of which then manage to install it correctly. Good luck.

No, it will not be implemented at all Im sorry to say. While I got it in game, I could never get the hitbox to work and for such a large model it became impossible to balance.

Damn, wait, how much of the map did it take up?

ALSO, several of the imperium ships have SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF WEAPONS... taht I litterally can't see the all in the UI priovided.

What weapons and weapon stats do the 1,200 point and the 1,400 point titans for the imperium have?

I made the biggest possible fleet:
It has 1 Ancient Titan (So no one runs away ever) It stays in the back.
51 Razor fiends (you'll see why in a moment)
102 Bio plasma drones

The theortical strategy is for the ancient titan to stay in the back so no one will ever be killed and run away due to **** morale, and for all ONEHUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE other vessels to bum rush the enemy to ******* DEATh....... but the ACTUAL strategy seems to be just to lag out the entire game :)

It slows down to one second per two minutes. Sadly, I dind't have the patience to see out an entire battle, so the effectiveness is unknown.

Another problem: The fuegan class doesn't Aidari doesn't gain the bonus 13,500 range in the runic targeting stance. Is this intended?

Hi, I read the notes before making the changes to the base game. To make the game go back to vanilla all I have to do is simply copy and paste the original data into their places in the game correct? That's what I interpreted from reading the note.
