An (currently unfinished) idea for a advanced nod power plant, following the proud CnC style of just copying parts of the orignal plant.
"hey dude, hey just listen, hey listen up what if...what if we made this you know really BIG ?"
The Main reactor should be normal powerplant size and the secondary generators should be small.
Thats currently the case, it is similiar to the TS design in that regard.

Not possible, PPs can only have 1 power upgrade.
GDI may have to ugrade all PPs seperate while Scrin have a global upgrade. Or Scrin could get a way to decrease the power usage of their structures.
I like the sound of the latter for the Scrin. Pretty original.

In C&C general, there is a replacement script that delete the original unit/structure and create a new one at the same place, with the same orientation. If it still exist in C&C3, it can be used to pass besides this limitation :
reactor => replaced by reactor 2 => replaced by reactor 3
true, but there are some bugs/drawbacks with units, so I ususally refrain from using that stuff.

It's alright, but it could use some variation.
I kinda dislike the design, I think the big part can stay but maybe some minor changes in it while the two smaller ones should be something like a large green\blue tiberium core. Hell if its blue tib core, make it explode violently like Soviet nuclear reactor.
Yes great idea. I always like to leave a trail of fireworks when I smash into a AI nod base. You know, blowing flame-tank up, over killing infantry with a few fire-hawk and most of all, capture the nuke silo (if built) to give nod a taste of it own medicine. If it this power plant could explode, it will surely give more you bang for your buck. =P
I tried exploding PPs once (as a sideeffect for the liquid tib core upgrade) - it makes Commandos a lot less usefull since they cant destroy the power grid without risking their own death.
A possible workaround for this would be to replace the commando's c4 attack with an ability that places an object (like the orca's sticky pod) that "dies" after 3-4 and has a deathweapon destroy the building.
You would probably want an instant attack for buildings with fs_basedefense (or whatever it's called) though.
Just something to consider.
@Stygs: Out of curiosity is something like the bio reactor from YR possible? I was thinking maybe for Scrin.. About the exploding PPs, well you can ignore that if you think it causes problems.
I wish sometihg like Yuris PP would be possible, but sadly there are not many ways to change the energy output of a structure :(

I love 99% of this mod, but this is the 1% for me. I rather like the tiberium core upgrade better
