Great mod, there's excellent balance between puzzles and action. Gameplay is 100% "oldschool Half-Life", the beginnig of the mod gives you the impression that you're visiting Black Mesa, and that's good!. Though, as the story develops, it starts to feel more like HL2 (that's also good).
I love the mapping here, thanks for releasing this wonderful mod.

I enjoyed every bit of this mod. Excellent mapping skills here, the dark forest chapter really scared the heck out of me :)
I would have liked the final chapter to be more challenging though.
All in all it's a great mod and a must play 9/10.

I strongly suggest you get "ZDoom Launcher": Zdoom.org
It will make things easier for you (running mods, maps, and custom stuff in general). ZDL is compatible with ZDoom and GZDoom.

Saying that this mod is better than any source game is obviously an exaggeration.
However, HL-Redux does look better than HL-Source in many instances.

First, start a map.
Second, bring the console and type in: sv_cheats 1.
Third, restart the map.
All cheat codes should work after that.

Great weapon pack.
The "XM300 Dragon Nanoblade" and the "R20 Bulldog .75 Assault Cannon" are just amazing (and brutal!).
