Don't got a whole lot to tell. I Like games, particularly warband, and have played most of the top mods here. Don't mind giving honest reviews, and would expect the same in return. Any personal stuff remains that way... wee bit paranoid. Don't mind chatting if people want feedback, but don't expect much technical jargon. Mostly ideas.

Hello, I just started playing the mod and had a question about the Ottomans. Is there any way to prevent Britain from straight up taking Aden? I've tried to work through the event files but I'm a bit lost. I've tried sphering them, but that doesn't seem to stop Britain from just taking them.Should I just leave it and come back to it later maybe, or did something go wrong?

Question: is their any way to remove Saskia's infertility trait? like an event or something? or is it a permanent fixture?

Do you have any leads as to what causes the upper aedirn issue? I know that was one that I found, and made my try as the young king particularly annoying

That still doesn't account for how saskia becomes a vassel of the kingdom that we just beat up, as opposed to aederin who helped her in the war.

question on quest events. As stannis in aedirn, is saskia supposed to become a vassal of the kaedwen king after you win the initial war? because I assumed that by winning, then she would at least gain independence, if not becoming a vassal under me?

Wanted to know if this is a common problem. My game randomly crashes after a few months or years for some reason. I have 2.6.3, and doubt its a problem with my computer, so i just wanted some input on what to do.

Based off of old school belief. Nobles in medieval society were essentially 'born to rule', so for example kings had the divine right. Because of this any premeditated killing of a lord by anyone, particularly a commoner, was a perceived threat to the feudal way of life, such that it proved the nobles to be just as mortal as the others. This could lead to revolts, etc. There are some instances where it was generally accepted, such as a king executing a lord. The red wedding isn't a really good example, given that the assassination was carried out by two lords that were already hated, and as such any relation drop would be irreverent to them.

ACOK has the benefit of being more polished. There are less bugs in the sense of gameplay, and generally runs smoothly. Other things include the actual base the mods use. ACOK uses Floris, AWOIAF uses Brytenwalda. Due to how both mods are structured, I typically go with saying that if you want story and roleplay, ACOK has its finished and bugfixed quests, but has locked dimocracy so that most factions never really change. Becoming kings is nigh impossible. On the other hand, AWOIAF is more for warband people, with its unlocked diplomacy.

Might be an odd thing, but the lords have started to congregate in the same place and never leave. Case in point, The Sultanate of Rum took over a big swath of Antioch, and now all its lords havent moved from Antioch in about 40-60 days. The re are one or two free lords, but beyond that. And Jerusalem is holing up in Homes. There are no feasts on, and I have no idea where the marshall is...

It depends on what your looking for. If you want story and quests, then ACOK is good. AWOIAF is more for a gritty Westeros. Its not quite as polished, but its playable, and fun.

It starts at about the end of the first book, little of the second, but has no ties to what actually happens past that point. Its pretty much just warband in westeros, as the title says.

The whole lose three strength is temp. Its a carry over from Brytenwalda, which is the mods base. Its a battle injury thing, a little insentitive to not get taken out next time, and if you go long enough without getting wounded again it will go away, or visit a maseter in newer versions. Doubt it will be changed however, but there might be a way to disable it in the camp menu, under mods. If not look in the take an action menu.

Its not really as hard as your making it out to be. I've done it a few times. It takes perseverance and some big pockets to pay for all the mercs. Look for small castles or recently sacked towns. The build-a-fort function is also great, letting you build up massive numbers of troops easy. If your real desperate hire out deserters, but deal with the cost.

If your looking for magic, then phosphor has a rudimentary method of going about it. At least its decent. Stop thinking phantasy Calradia, this mod is more Tolkien. Less outward magic, more odd little fantastical things. Big fireballs and conjuration are a little out of place in such a setting.

If i remember, then Birgit is the daughter of the Kaiser, and has two brothers. The only issue is that by having her as a marriageable daughter, then the dialogue for king marriage would have to be changed. It was probably left out simply to avoid complicating lord relations.

if I am reading what you wrote correctly, then it differs. the reich are very good at land battles, and their charge can rip a squad apart, but in siege they fall over themselves. The redwoods are tough troops, good at siege and land, but struggle a little when troops get close. Falcon is decent at land, but due to cavalry focus their troops tend to die quick. I dont have a whole lot of experience with other factions, but hakkon are good infantry, but can be outflanked. Tolradians and draharans are similarly tough. It depends on if you want to look at sieges or land battles.
