What does "Change {username} to your own Windows username." Mean? Please be more specific. What username?

I am running Windows 10 64-bit. I am trying to install DMagic1's GTA3 Wheel Mod into my GTA III folder so I can use a car mod pack called GTA 3 True Vehicle Pack. The problem is that when I try to run the installer, it tells me to install in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTAIII, but the game folder is located on an external drive. When I direct it to the drive, it says, "The path to GTA 3 is invalid; please enter the correct path." So I moved the folder to C:\Program Files, and it says the same thing. I don't know why.
So I tried to install it manually. The manual instructions say, "Add this line to the default. dat file below MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\wheels.dff.
MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\nowheel.DFF" So I opened MODELS\GENERIC\wheels.dff in my GTA 3 folder, but the entire file is written like this:

What the heck does "Oh no. Plecos are attacking your internet!" mean and why did I get kicked off the game?

To open the archive, use WinRAR. Make a folder called "Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars" in your documents folder. Create a subfolder called "Mods" after that. Place the contents of the archive in the Mods folder, then execute "autorun.exe" from the game disc. Click "Game Browser" then "Mods," and a list with the Mod appears. Choose "TiberiumEssence," then press the "Launch Game" button.

After installing the mod, the game ran until the first boss fight, at which point it crashed. There was also a strange light glitch in which the left half of the screen appeared to be a cone of light. And the movement remains stiff. That was supposed to be fixed, right?

How do I use this to load a WAD file? I am unable to drag and drop items onto it or link WADs to it.

Do I need Doomu.wad? I own The Ultimate Doom, though my wad is called "doom.WAD".

I'm a little confused about the installation. The instructions say:

"Download or buy four Doom wads (doom.wad, doomu.wad, doom2.wad, tnt.wad, plutonia.wad"

Is it necessary for me to download each of them and place them in the game folder? With the exception of "doomu.wad," I was able to locate all of them. I'm not sure what that is or where to look for it.

Do I need to dl and install sikkmod if I want to use this mod?

The game won't start. I am using zdoom. It says "Script error, "ERADICATION_MAPSET.wad:DECORATE" line 12:
"floatbobstrength" is an unknown actor property"

I tried using lzdoom and it loads the game but it's not loading the weapons, sprites, textures, ect.

Can I add custom skirmish maps to play on this? If so what version of the game do the maps have to be?

The lighting and textures are a lot better than the default game. Only thing I wish it had was the duct tape mod. Some parts of the game are pitch black.

What's the console command to start the map? You didn't provide a readme.

I started over from scratch this time making sure I had the original Atomic Edition duke3dgrp and it still won't run. I don't know why its not working.

I've never been able to play Alien Armageddon since the first version came out. There has always been something wrong with it. Either the damn thing just won't start or it can't load save files.

I downloaded a brand new copy of eduke32 and I installed DukePlus_251 into it and it still doesn't work. Nothing shows up in the keyboard settings for the menu. The game plays normally. Nothing changes.

What am I doing wrong? Please tell me exactly how to install this.

I figured out how to install this BUT when I go to Options>Keyboard>Configure Controls there is nothing listed about a Duke Plus menu. I watched a video on YouTube that shows how to install Duke Plus and the guy went into his Keyboard Controls and it was right under "Crouch". But its not showing for me.

How do I install this? Do I need anything installed beforehand? Does it change the weapon skins/sounds?

Its more than likely because you are running a 32 bit operationg system like I am. The eduke.exe that is in the game folder is for 64 bit systems.
