This is a much-needed maintenance release for DukePlus that fixes various breakages that have happened as Eduke32 has been updated over the last several years.
2.50 6-3-20 Maintenance release
Maintenance fixes: These are mostly things that used to work and got broken over time
- Fixed crash on loading certain maps which have vending machines such as E3L2
- Shell casings will stop spinning on the ground (yes, this got broken by Eduke32 updates AGAIN)
- The altfire/reload key now uses Eduke32’s hardcoded function for that which is right-mouse by default
- Fixed jitteriness when on Duke’s bike caused by newer camera code
- Fixed issues with DukePlus menu where camera could still move a little and sometimes it would skip over menu items
- Fixed some invalid sprite ID and other invalid references in code
- Various small fixes since 2016 that had been included with LeoD’s nixfix pack
- Includes new Eduke32 with various changes and (mostly) improvements
It's great to see this mod updated, but also in the current version there are black squares instead of double shotgun (HUD-view) and enemy muzzle flashes (non-3D-models mode).
Leave 3d models on.

i was gonna say this at 1 point, but when i tried to save the comment, my internet went out for long enough to where it didn't go through. but it's cool to see this getting an update. it's weird though how when i tried to use a controller. i couldn't seem to get the buttons i use for kicking and shooting to work right. so i had to go back to how i played some EDuke stuff before. i saw one of the comments left on this page, and it got me sorta thinking. i was surprised that there wasn't like an updated thing to where, you could replace the double barrel shotgun with a version that's a non 3d model. in fact, any of the 3D weapons would be a cool option to have the ability to change into a classic type of form. though i know it's unlikely to happen anytime soon

I'm experiencing visual glitches with the latest HRP (5.4.674): quickkick displays a mess of polygons, dual pistols display only the right-hand pistol, and the reloadable shotgun is displayed in the upper part of the screen, as though the camera is on Duke's chest. Can it be fixed somehow?
How do I install this? Do I need anything installed beforehand? Does it change the weapon skins/sounds?
I figured out how to install this BUT when I go to Options>Keyboard>Configure Controls there is nothing listed about a Duke Plus menu. I watched a video on YouTube that shows how to install Duke Plus and the guy went into his Keyboard Controls and it was right under "Crouch". But its not showing for me.
What am I doing wrong? Please tell me exactly how to install this.
I downloaded a brand new copy of eduke32 and I installed DukePlus_251 into it and it still doesn't work. Nothing shows up in the keyboard settings for the menu. The game plays normally. Nothing changes.
I started over from scratch this time making sure I had the original Atomic Edition duke3dgrp and it still won't run. I don't know why its not working.
