its the background map you see when you first start up the game

the art style of the units seems reminiscent of red alert 3, with the terrain warcraft-ish but it looks great for a browser game. :)

The new ones may have changed a lot but they are a lot better!

they are designed to fly just above the surface to avoid radar detection I believe

I think that this "Game" would recive more hits if you list it as a indie game, since most will think that they need to own tiberan sun.

"new realism aim mode meant for duels, this is the real deal!" now everyone should try the game again for that!

I think with this being stand alone now it would get a lot more hits by changing its status to a game instead of a mod

gotta remeber thats this is the hl1 engine. The hands look damn amazing compared to most hl hands. But if it can be improved awesome!

I am glad that you guys keep up the development of this despite the large amounts of negative feedback. I do believe that this was caused by the last major release having major server issues. That being said keep up the good work with some quality unique feature and I believe that you can get a good player base in the future.

in response to modding on empire total war and medieval 3 etc.

well as been said empire and beyond the game is very hard to mod. I doubt this would happen but if they could allow there rome and medieval 2 mods released on steam that would help those games last for a very long time. Even better but less likely would be since there old engine pre empire is obsolete they could open source it that would be awesome for mods and custom games right :).

and is much as I like medieval 2 i would like to see rome 2 first. And I have little enthusiasm for shogun 2 total war. asides from complete modding removal, i believe that the game is to narrow focused and should be like Asia total war. This would be more in line with most of there games which covers Europe

well the information i based this off was off the moddb profile and the fact that future valve games are for both Mac and windows. But now that i look into this further, i can see that there is little evidence to support this.
