i had a hard week on the job...this is fixing it...

i'm having a strange bug, when i acquire the extended clip mod it doesn't works, my machinegun ammo count it's alway 40, even after reloading it never reaches 80...is anybody had this same issue? i don't recall being in the vanilla game, so maybe there's a way to fix it..tnx

yesterday i just can't believe that i've missed the LA release by several months, i've kept track of this project for nearly 4 years, looking on this board and the official website everyday, hoping for a screenshot, a video or simply an update message from the devs. After a while i've started to become discouraged about it's release so, foolishly, i've lose track of this project day after day. In my mind i've thought: i don't wanna see the day that i will read that the project it's been cancelled. You can imagine my reaction when i saw a post about LA on Stalker Soc steam forum. I just wanna say that i'm glad that it's been finally released, more for the devs than for me. Through these pages i really felt their passion for the game and their "dream project"...so good luck Dezowave, you have succeded where everyone has failed.

Ok, enough with the mawkishness, what it matters for me is that i'm finally playing the game and it's going beyond my imagination, like rock paper shotgun stated: "it's familiar but new at the same time".

I've always like the atmosphere catched in Build 1935, i've played that build in every possible way and here lies the point of my post, in your opinion, what is the best video setup to play LA like build 1935 graphic wise?

i've tried a couple of things like static lights and no effects, but is somebody tried this thing too? what are your suggestions?

can somebody help me with the bloom problem? i already tried following the readme instructions and teh suggestions of some people here on the forum, but it simply doesn't work for me, i always have the same exaggerated bloom and brightness...

UPDATE: i've fixed it, turns out that i always tried to change the render instead of the graphic quality presets...sorry for the stupid question

I've forget to list another weird bug...enemy granades don't explodes, and their minimap icon remains on the screen

i'm experiencing some weird bugs with this mod...first of all i've played this mod thousands of times without any issues, i've always played on the disc version of the game. Today i've decided to finally download my steam version of teh game to gice it a try. I've installed teh complete mod with the realistic weapon addon and the international patch and i've started the game. I've noticed that i start without sleeping bag, and some stashes marked on my pda are empty...what is happening?

i've tried to use your mod, but the game crashes as soon as i start a mission (note: in the vanilla game the first mission is called Lightning, with the mod i can choose between Training and Cannibal...why?)...however, i've tried to delete the 2 .avi videos but no luck...i have the steam version and i can't patch it with the 1.1 russian patch...is there a fix for this? -tnx

it's possible to continue a game started with the brutal mod 0.17 after replacing the 0.18a file?

is it possible to use this mod on an already started game. I mean i have to start a new campaign or i can just continue with my current game? Also (like another user said) is a there a clear way to see if the mod is correctly installed?

outstandig work MadMax, your avp mod it's the last brick for a great, classic game. I hope that there is (or will be) a fix for the ending level crash. I know that could be the little price to pay to enjoy your unique work, but a fix would really enhance the immersion/experience that this game (updated with your mod) is able to give still these days
