Does this require the original installed or is like some other "mods" a single full instalation package?
TBH I think is mostly based on a sighly desaturation what makes them fit better in the atmosphere...
The original had lots of things too vibrant (probably for the sake of easy recognicing/ notice them as units and not getting them merged too much with the enviroment)
You can notice that the wolverine here, even if mostly being the original from Tib Sun, has a totally different saturation compared to the original. (or other original units)
I dont know if believe this at all... Not saying most of it wont have a real base, but really wondering if is not another emply promise when you have been years barely saying anything... or just totally gone like the 2013-2017 period.
Optimizing the game? I dont know how much you gone into changing things, but ussually making a mod means create them based on most of the boundaries the original game/engine had, maybe some needs to be pushed down to make a better experience, but on this point you are talking like if the engine would be so modified could be said its another one, or like if the design of the part of the mod were done not taking in consideration the original engine boundaries.
If the engine can hadle it... release the mod... You say we cant see the optimization progress? would be nice to have something to compare instead a wall of text that doesnt really give real data on the progress of this... I dont know why be so strict about a mod that clearly has not a financial hit in case it doesnt perform as expected, unless its a totally broken mess and barely playable if it launch at all.
I dont want to sound that rough, because I know that work for passion and give dates is frustrating, but here you are another year asking to vote for a Mod Of The Year, not for a Promise Of The Year... and this, to date, its not a mod to me and many others, just a promise... the eternal promise.
If anything deserves the vote is Tib Essence.
I really recomend you to stop saying "soon" as 4 this mod "soon" means between 1 year and 1 live...

Anybody noticed a terrible problem on middle of episode 1? I just playerd whole Hl2, and now playing Ep 1, on one loading point all my weapons gone... now even with console commands my weapons cannot be seen but looks like they mechanically work (you hit surfaces)

Ermmm this is from C&C 3, 0% chances of being wrong as I remember very well the first image I saw of this game on magazines... this came out with the civilian car, fire truck and police vehicles concept art..
they had the tiberium flechete weapong if I dont remember it wrong.. however could be the tib rifle of the cheap sydney
I never liked the original rocketlauncher... looked weird even as grenade launcher... you would over with the wrists broken on the 1st shot.

TBH that kind of laser barrier in the MCY made me think how would/coulld work a unit for nod that allows to creat barriers on the fly... like "beam canons" but creating anti terrestial wall, instead shooting... like something interesting to cover some part of your army or create ambush (imagine digging abillity like the limpet drone, that once they get out the lland they activate and creates barriers...
I always liked to think that those platforms had some kind of nanobots, that just were to expensive to add to the vehicles or structures, but that still were interesting to be contained on one structure so they will have the chance to repair all kinds of vehicles with no effort or the chance to lost that valuable bots/tech.
Im not really agree that C&C3; will be like that because "E-sports"... by the way, most part of the franchise could fit under that definition...
I see more like that problem was on C&C4;, not in C&C3;, but just because they mixed "E-sports" with "Moba-esque" gameplay (what was the biggers representative of E-sports at the moment)... Just the same I think happened to Dawn of War 3 (still better than C&C4; even if it stinks)
I suppose there is just no way to make the borders will be a sighly different texture with more "dirt" would help a lot to fit in better...
If not, im wondering if you could base the pavement borders on some kind of alpha that allows to see the terrain under, so you could blend a bit the borders, or add some kind 10-15% transparency to the all the concrete that would help aswelll to fit.

Also, just to give some ideas but.. Havent you thinked about take some enviroment stuff, like Geonosis & Tatooine structures, and touch them a bit to make some Cartel-mercenary side?
There is no way to play with the modified aoehd .exe for 1080p? cant you do a few custom resolutions .EXEs?
I would love to see this concept mixed with one carryall...
Imagine a floater where used to be every engine, and imagine the 4 floaters emiting electric pulses to the chassis (and some wires that goes from every floater to the body of the ship), like if that would being used to power up the weapons orsomething.
To be honest I would prefer a visceroid to take this "melee/tank" role instead this unit.

Sure, its just same way like if you make a harvester in the war factory... At all when you place a building like refinery, the game just spawns a harvester that "auto detects" where to harvest and closer place to drop stuff. Say to the system spawn 1, 2 o 3 harvesters at tghe same time should not be a problem.
Dont owns this unit more to nod than to scrins?
I mean, it uses Scrin technology but was made by man.
