Not at the correct scale I fear, no. That thing was 60 kilometres wide after all, it would occupy the whole battlemap if it was implemented. Even if the Resurgence-class SDs were scaled down to the size of a classic ISD, it wouldn't be enough to make Supremacy playable :/

What I'd love to see implemented in the mod would be different models when you progress in tech levels (something like Thrawn's Revenge era system)
Like when you progress up to a certain point the Secutor is replaced by the Allegiance, the Predator by the Procursator, or the MC-80 Liberty by the MC-90

it's all in the little details indeed, but I like it Geroenimo ^^ those new engine glows look really nice ! Good job on these !

But about those details, the Procursator-class destroyer still isn't in skirmish mode ? I really like this ship and its anti-cruiser support role, it's one of the reasons I love Remake ^^ Or is its primary role already filled by other Imperial ships ?
(Last thing I promise, maybe that's just me being picky, but how is the ISD a tier 5 along with the Allegiance-class and Overlord when the Dominator-class is a tier 4 ?)

Totally unrelated note, but have you seen Fractalsponge's new take on the Victory SD ? Do you think it might be integrated in YVaW or would you rather keep the VSD mk3 that you currently have ?

Basically what they'll do is "test" and polish every game mechanic that they intend to implement here on their main mod of Yuuzhan Vong at War, while at the same time developing individual models for this one mod along with their movie counterparts being revealed.

This means the coding / scripting part will have to wait at least YVaW's release (which imho will not happen for at least another year, maybe even more)
while on the other hand the modeling part will obviously have to wait until every ship of the post-trilogy era have been shown - those that we'll see in episodes VIII and IX (plus maybe New Extended Universe content, coz I doubt that what's shown in 3 movies are enough).

So long story short wait until winter 2019/spring 2020 at least to see this complete, I think they intend to make that mod fairly solid on first release ...

Hi Cheesecake ! Hope you're alright and still going well with your studies !

I was getting back to SICW after a long time away from it, and I was wondering about pulling off some random stuff for 2.0, one day, maybe :

- Considering your involvement in the Yuuzhan Vong project, I thought that their diplomacy system could be implemented to allow the GA Remnant to interact with Fel's Empire-in-Exile in GC and use their units after building up with them, instead of just getting to build the ships once Bastion is taken ? (the same could be made with the Jedi, with Cade and the Jedi units being available after interacting with the Hidden Temple on Taivas, and Nei Rin coming with Zonama Sekot or Ossus)
- I'm not at all familiar with such mechanisms, but could some ships be obtained in GC only through certain conditions defined by some scripts ? Like for instance the Alliance (Imperious-class) only being recruitable if Dac is under GA control and Gar Stazi's Indomitable dies after that ? Or the Dragon-class battleships only available if GA captures Had Abaddon but the Empire holds Korriban (or Krayt dies but Korriban still held by the Empire) ?
- If the previous one is not possible, maybe some ships could be replaced with the tech upgrading ? Like having the Imperious-class available for the Empire as soon as tech 4, but replaced by the Dragon-class at tech 5 ?

And also, just some generic stupid questions :

- I remember seeing an article of yours about a new GC map featuring a LOT of new planets, and I need to ask : do you intend to keep similar starting "conditions", with each faction only having one planet to start from, and the rest of the Galaxy being independant ?
- Is the Confederacy Revenant faction still in plans for SICW ? You really had interesting ideas for the roster of this "separatist" like faction, and I wish to see a bit more of them in the future !
- I've looked at other mods around (especially the FOC Alliance mod, since its creator seems to keep snatching away your ships), and although I don't really appreciate that, do you have ideas to integrate some of its "original" models, like the Trimiran Battle Cruiser, or the Knight-class Star Destroyer (could be a Fel exclusive) ? They could replace the Conquest and the Watchman as fleet carriers (in my humble opinion these two don't really fit with the general aesthetics of the rest of their factions - although you could keep them as the repair ships you talked about)

Again, thanks for that beast mod of yours, I really hope you will keep working on it and making it one of the best mods around :)

Shame, I appreciated the fact that the Empire had that model in particular, especially with that specialized role you gave it (heavy missile platform and all ....)

But now that I think about it, have you ever thought about giving cut away ship models to new heroes, in such manner that even though it would appear in the game, it would be only one sample of it ? (basically the same as what you did for the model that was supposed to replace the Thranta-class in ORAW)

Since it would be unique units, it would not create redundancies in the roster, and not necessarily break the asymetry of the faction's balance, and I'd love to see some Imp fleet admiral with a Secutor destroyer, or a Predator ^^

It might just be that I installed the mod wrongly, but I don't have access to the Predator-class Star Destroyer (Nar Shaddaa) either in GC or in skirmish.
In the case it's not a game bug, and if it's not an install issue, did you keep it out because you feel it's not ready yet ?

(that ship is one of the main reasons I love that mod of yours so much, and if you kept it out indeed I can't wait to see the final version !!!)

Can't wait to see your taking on Kylo Ren's flagship, the "Finalizer" ^^

Apart from that, it's true that apart from the new TIEs, the Resurgent Star Destroyers, perhaps the glimpsed First Order walkers and the new X-wings, a First Order mod doesn't have much yet to work on, but until episode VIII is released and his load of new crafts with it will you only work on the game's mechanisms ?

(I don't assume that the few new ships we've seen will not demand alot of work, but it's definitively not going to take two years to finish 4 new models)

I can only wish you good luck with your studies, Cheesecake, and hope that the results of your finals will not destroy the motivation that you had for completing this mod !

In my humble opinion whatever contribution you bring to YVaW, no matter how formidable, will never be as important as your works on this mod, because SICW is your mod, and no one else's; to me it feels much more personal, and you have no idea how much I've been enjoying it.
Plus you proposed very original content in your plans for Galactic Conquests (like the unique planetary builds in your former posts), which imo brought this mod closer of a Civilization-like strategy game than any mod had ever before ...

Therefore I can't wait for the time when you'll be able to bring us some more amazing Legacy-era material ! Until then, may the Force be with you !

I agree on that too, the canon (well, Legends now...) denomination for the "Terminus I" is Gage-class transport (and Terminus destroyer actually is the name for the Terminus II ^^) - although the Terminus I and II names are rather nice and feel quite appropriate as well for your mod.
But the hardpoint change I will let you decide, I'm not as sure yet, changing it all to turbolasers would destroy the purpose of the Terminus in the Empire's navy imo ...

Something else btw, it might just be an artistic choice, but I'm kind of disturbed by the texture of the Harrower II, which looks like gravy from certain angles. Have you thought about giving it a texture similar to the Harrower's ?
And if you think renaming it to Lancer will make people read the description, I regret to tell you that you're wrong, people are lazy man :P (maybe you could rename it Harrower II-class Long-Range Destroyer, the clue would be more obvious)

I'm not in position to discuss any of your choices regarding the new Aurora, Sion or Traya (it's your mod after all), and I know the pain regarding motivation towards doing the renaming and stuff for Terminus II ...
But maybe Revan could make an appearance as a special event during the GC (like an independent unit spawning here and there, claiming a planet all by himself or something)

(truth be told, I thought of a similar type of event with the Eternal Fleet, but that would've been a bit too OP)
