Unfortunately, a combination of real life, constant moving, and piles of homework weighing more then a dammed truck (yes, you read that right) meant that the whole dev group is down to only one guy able to do whatever, and that guy, the lead artist, plans on making a new post when he finishes the complete UNCF non-capital lineup, as he calls it. Last I checked, he got the cruisers done and is now dealing with the destroyers...
...speaking of which, he also complains about his MacBook siezing up and crashing all the time. It just can't handle Blender, apparently. He plans on getting the update out by the end of the month though

oh wait, that's right, you can't. So either delete every single of your comments and pretend this never happened or make a public apology for causing this whole ruckus, because you're either generating new meme material for the team, making a fool out of yourself, or perhaps both, and pretending that you're not, and right this moment I am at the limit of my damn patience

AFAIK Scepton's duking it out with the Remastered shaders, he might have something new. The last I heard, he finished the cruisers--he's dealing with the textures now

AFAIK, we're rigging the mod to work with Sins 1 first, and the consider a port to Sins 2 later down the line. Right now, Scepton's dealing with UV mapping the meshes to work with Remastered shaders, and as far as I know, it's not going too well =(

I've considered taking a look or two at the early acess when it comes out, though considering the fire that Epic Games gets nowdays, yeah, you're probably right.

Related to that, though, to save time, I have already set a batch of meshes with turrets seperate from the hull for turreted gun experiments.

I belive that he had made it clear that the art is not his own, and was only there because MODDB has a five-picture limit for posting something. One has to have 5 pictures on it before the post being allowed to be visible. Have I made this clear?

And before you claim it to be again 'stolen', well, if it was really stolen he woudn't have run the gauntlet of actually putting the source in italics below the image.

Please don't turn yourself into a meme. I am well aware of this. The dude doing it has been banned from ATD, and everything he has contributed has been removed. Let this be the end of it then.

Please don't bring this subject up ever again. What has happened, has happened, and I don't have a time machine to reverse things and undo that jerk's work. And if I did, the Grandfather Paradox would bring us back to Square One.

But he is now banned from the ATD mod team, and that's pretty much it. Actions have been taken and done with. This subject is not up for debate and therefore is closed. Any further comments on this subject will be removed.

TL;DR, as of Febuary 22th, 2022, 'Alpha Two Development Official' is banned from ATD as a whole. Please do not bring this subject up again. Thank you.

'Alpha Two-whatever' and my lead artist Richard Scepton are two diffrent people. I gave "Alpha Two-whatever' the boot too, he was just too much of a jerk. I can stand swearing (so does my lead artist) but when it comes to insulting fellow team members, that's just too much.

TBH it's because 356mm positron accelerator cannons shoot 356 tons of antimatter at 0.4c and need stupidly thick armor on the barrels so that you cannot shoot them apart in the first 10 seconds of war (or even worse, when it's charging up).

As far as I'm concerned the Mercury, Columbia, Defender, as well as multiple civvie ships as logicstics. Most CMA ships will be designed for line-of-battle engagements, so that dosen't leavy much room for battlestars. They will be useful as carriers though, flight pods are perfect for scrambling a lot of jets up in a hurry when you're being shot at.

And no, ships from BSG Deadlock won't be included.

IIRC they won't bother you if you pull the lines from the series as considering this mod is nonprofit, it falls under the definition of "fair use" by US copyright law.

The main problem tho is the lack of satisfactory voicelines.

I had a few Garmilian designs archived on my PC too. There is a Gelvades-class battlecarrier, a destroyer, and a Gaiperon-class multideck carrier. All three have been rendered in Sketchup and exported to .obj for converting to .xsi.

Hopefully that might shave off some time off your scedule?

As a modder for Stellaris, I happen to have a few meshes of my own that are SBY-themed. Mainly, they are the Andromeda, Dreadnought, Gearing (rendered in Sketchup and exported to .obj), Kongo (rendered in Blender, textured in 3D Builder, exported to.obj)and maybe some more as the mod progresses. We already have some non-canon designs like the Izumo (WWII Ise-class with thrusters replacing the propellers) and the Taihou (Chinese carrier Liaoning taped on top of an Andromeda).

Can I send them to you for your use?

As an amauteer modeler, I think that I may help with texturing the models. I am an acive dev on the Sins of the Abyssals team, which aims to bring to life a crossover of Halo/Azur Lane/KanColle/BSG all in one mod for Stellaris. So, for once, I would offer my assistance in texturing the models, plus, I would also request permission to use the models for the Kirishima, the Murasame, and the Isokaze for my CMA models, as the Malta-class heavy cruiser, the Hudong-class light cruiser, and the Alamo-class destroyer, respectively.

I'll maybe start posting on the SOTA mod onto ModDB soon, as soon as I figure out where is the section for Stellaris.

I look forward to seeing your response, fellow mod dev.

The baked version fails to boot properly. And I have trouble loading the /mesh files onto 3d Object Converter so that I can 3d print them. Can you fix this?
