Is it normal that ammo pickup also gives you the guns that uses the ammo? Like shotgun shells give you sawn-off shotgun?
It is a restored feature from the early version of Doom. Purely cosmetic and nostalgic tho, it makes every sound randomized in pitches, either an imp sound like babies or old hag. Try activating it and press use repeatedly on an empty wall, Doomguy will grunt in harmony XD

Do you already reach Yantar already? If you already does, go to Prof. Sakharov, he can cure zombiefying with certain artifact. If not, load earlier save, because the trip to Yantar will very hard as zombie because you need to cross Bar.
Works on Xash3D. Except some decals disappear, the kicks seems more precise than Steam HL.
How about add varied weapons for the Security Guard? So they don't stuck with the Glock which highly insufficient in some parts of the game? Also how about portable health kit that can be used to heal the player and allies, like in Azure Sheep? The AI allies is more lovable now I am sad when they die...
1. It is not your pda that beep. In the vanilla gameplay-wise you are start with an anomaly detector. In OGSE you must buy them from trader, given as quest prize, or if you are fortunate enough, from stashes. For the meantime, stick to your bolts and eyes. Not very hard because in OGSE anomalies are placed far from each other. (there is more than one kind of detector! And once you find the best detector, the game will significantly easier)
2. AI characters walk to anomalies is a gameplay balancing. In OGSE anomalies are nearly invisible and it is not fair if the AI can dodge them! Love their stupidness.

Oh... that's right I use the 0692 r2. I don't know it has considered obsolete. I just started a second playthrough on novice because my first playthrough is very bad. I like the mod so far, really capture the feels of the novel and film, the Zone is harsh. Once the english release of 0693 is out, I will get it. Anyway are stalkers in 0693 able to loot stash boxes? Or they just loot bodies?
In just the first day, I have already raid the car park, recruited a partner, got rookie village attacked by military, survived a blowout, sniped 3 turret on the empty military post with TOZ-66. Now I'm underwhelmed with loots. After sold many of them, I want to ask, is the Sidorovich stash box is safe? I'm sure that npcs now able to loot bodies and stashes, so whatis indicator of safe stashes?

Sorry for barging in, but I want to ask something... I had imported some decals from Cry of Fear, and all of them use grey background. They work perfectly, but I want to convert them so they have alpha background using GIMP. The problem is i don't know how to properly converting them. Anyone can help?
Well, is there any way so I can just use the new UI and HUD?. As long as I know there is no any UI mod that doesn't have gameplay changes.
Hi, thank you for your mod. But, actually is there any way to make this mod 100% fully vanilla compatible? Without ANY improvements and bug fix, just a UI interface fix? And can you make a release that use old inventory icons? I am not using HDTP and the HD icons contrasted with the actual item.
Dying animations made me remember the early alpha version of HL.
Err... what I means actually was, everytime I play a mod based from Paranoia renderer (Paranoia, Mistake -1, and somewhat Cry of Fear 1.0) under Xash3D, everything runs fine, except all kinds of model (misc. decoration, npcs, viewmodel) will appear fully lighted, as like in model viewer. Is that only happens for me or is that Xash3D incompatible with the renderer?
Are there any workaround for fullbright props bug in Paranoia renderer? Paranoia renderer works on Xash3D except the models are fullbright even in dark places.
Look at the maps folder inside Sandpit. there is some "..._detail.txt" inside it. Copy all of them and paste them inside the valve maps folder. Start Xash3D, open the console and type "r_detailtextures 1". And voila.
For everyone got the random crashes problem, try running Paranoia on just one core. To do it, run the launch.bat on the paranoia folder, then Alt+Tab to the desktop. Open Task Manager, look for process named hl.exe, right click, click Set Affinity, and uncheck all cpu except CPU 0. You need to do this everytime you run paranoia.
Seeing all the preview screens for the features of Xash3d actually a bit teasing. The screens shows many hd textures,decals,skyboxes,and many more used under Xash3d. Because they are rare to find and scattered around the net, is there any chance they would released as, just said "Xash3d upgrade pack" ,just like the Quake Remake Upgrade pack?

So do you have the most recommended? I don't want to randomly downloading files just to rip the decals. For now im using decal from Trinity renderer and i think it's not very bloody. Also, why there is thin white outline around the decals? Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
