Probably, it will most likely go nowhere as you say, but i started working on this a few days ago since DOOM(4) will be released soon, and i thought it would be pretty cool to remake E1M1, but i'm not sure if i'll completely finish this project. I've been wanting to work on an actual game that i would release and get profit on, but i don't know. thanks for commenting anyway. :)
Hard to give any opinion at this very early stage. Have you checked Classic Doom for Doom 3? They remade the whole first episode of Doom 1.
No problem. At the end of the day, it's entirely up to you whether the project will succeed or fail. Despite what I said, I hope for your own sake that you manage to stay motivated nevertheless.
Another DOOM remake project, eh? I would be interested if I didn't have the uneasy feeling that this will go nowhere fast like the other ones...
Yeah, that would be great if at least ONE project could be completed. Classic Doom was cool and very promising, maybe someone (you, Thomas?) could take over and make the rest of the game...?
