Description:
After my experience during the development of my other mod DOOM 2016 Arsenal, I have learned many things and I have decided to apply what I have learned to polish and improve all weapons and their unctions while maintaining the v21 style, although it is well saved since before EWM includes 3 new weapons: Compact Submachine Gun, Quad Shotgun and Riot Shield.
2 new keys have been added for the new functions such as "fire modes" that allow firearms to switch to semi-automatic or in bursts depending on the weapon selected and the "weapon special" button that will allow the weapon's special ability to be used.
Slug Rounds was not enough, now Frag Rounds arrived for your Assault Shotgun to fatigue that need of destruction (Warning not to use in very close to the player, it already hurts you too).
EWM has merged with Better Draw Animations from Dox778 to provide quality animations to most weapons.
Load Order (launcher required):

I'm using Zandronum, and I tried with any other Zdoom version I have and still doesn't work.

is this compatible with tomtefars extension mod?
It is not, but I am thinking of carrying EWM weapons to Tomtefars Extension in a separate package

Why not to create a full bd fork you 3.. it will be the best bd fork of course.. you have the same style/skill yet..
For example:
XV117 can make the hud, inventory items, objects, armors, spheres of power, fog and light level
Professor to combine the monsters
And tomtefar the weapons and the base mode
and where is th X117 and professor they are not active since 2020
i guess they are the same account and tomtefars is the preserved account

Check out the add-on I put together where I combine parts of EWM and parts of Tomtefars. I also implemented a slew of other tweaks (see change log) which might give you ideas or inspiration.
Why is it that I'm unable to switch weapons whilst using the mutator?
If no weapon can be changed, it means that you are loading the addon incorrectly, use this loading order

i found a bug, when i shoot the dual pistols, PlamaRifle doesn't alert the monsters and when i hit with the shield towards the wall, not alert the enemies but the rest of weapons is normal.

There is a bug with the slug rounds that does not appear in brutal doom v21 mode realistic.Could you fix it?
you gotta fix the screen shake for the assault rifle during ads, as the very little screen shake makes it feel pretty underpowered. Could you probably update your monster expansion addon to have these weapons used by other zombies?
How do you set the new keys such as the firing mode select because I don't see any new control key settings when I load this up? Great addon by the way. I like the addition of the riot shield a lot. Reminds me of playing Urban Chaos.

what are the commands to summon these weapons? I want to know because I do custom scenarios and what not using the default levels
Awesome weapon mod! I like the fire mode changing idea. However, I encountered a bug: when you throw the axe (weapon special action keybind), the game crashes. Zandronum version: 3.0.1-r191013
When shooting the quad shotgun in single fire the sprite desapears for a frame, you can't shoot while holding the right mouse button with the smg's (mp40 and pdw) and when used along with your monster extension mod the monsters don't drop their weapons correctly (aka the quad barrel zombie drops the ssg) other than that this version of ewm is ******* dope
