Hit Ctrl+F and look for "SHP render bug"
I'd give you a direct link to LKO's post, but I don't know how that works.
The problem that was fixed is basically this Ppmforums.com and Ppmforums.com
And it was fixed by processing all SHPs with a turret with this tool: Ppmforums.com
Oooh, okay. I thought this may have been an actual engine bug.
perang red alert
the game crashing every time, im starting the game ,have somebody a idea why or how i can fix it ?
Are you trying to launch DTA via Steam by any chance? I noticed that this doesn't work while using the DDrawCompat renderer (anymore) for some reason.
If this is not the case, at least try changing the renderer and see if the game doesn't crash with any of the other ones. I recommend trying TS-DDRAW in full-screen mode or DxWnd in (borderless) windowed mode first.
Hello, i just downloaded this and i play skirhmish on nod but there is no war machine, there are no tanks :S
Nod builds their tanks from the Airstrip / airfield instead of a War Factory.
I've been having an issue with that for quite a while:
Is there any option to play NAVAL red alert in Classic mode? Don't get me wrong but I really enjoy playing Classic game without all those features. In older versions it was more-or-less alright duo to most naval units were classic. Now it's kind of different, which really upsets me.
Naval is mainly disabled in classic mode because GDI and Nod would have too much of a disadvantage then (considering that they'd have no naval units at all).
Oh, well, that for some reason didn't come to my mind until now...
Still, is there any chance to manually tweak some file and allow ships in classic game?
(I know it'd make my game online incompatible but it's not really an issue since I don't play DTA against humans anyway).
You would have to edit Rules.ini, but in addition to simply changing Prerequisite of ASYRD and RASPEN, you also need to change the owner of all Allied vehicles from Allies to Allies1 and the owner of all Soviet vehicles from Soviet to Soviet1 (this is necessary to prevent tanks from coming out of naval yards and ships out of war factories).
