To run the Quake Shareware you will need to set your system to either Windows xp or Windows 98 compat depending on your PC or Laptop's operating system, Then select the installer EXE and install to wherever you want and then run the game, Failing that use a sourceport such as Dark Places, Quakespasm, or Mark V.

As for Doom shareware, hexen or heretic shareware, You can run those by simply pulling their wad file out and placing them into the folder of a sourceport like GZDoom or Zdoom and running the IWAD there, Running the Wolfenstein 3D shareware requires a sourceport like ECWolf or a Windows xp computer running on Windows 95 compat.
