Adds a universal stash that can be accessed from special placeable backpack stashes [Update 0.901: Changelog in first comment]
Welcome to the Anomalous Stash mod!
Have you ever wished Anomaly had some kind of universal or shared stash like an ender chest in Minecraft or so many other games?
I always wanted this and about a year ago I started this project. I've worked on it off and on. Remade it multiple times. But I've decided to finally release it as a beta.
It is important to note that I currently consider this release a BETA. I've been testing the mod for a while with no issues but there is a risk of losing items (or worse) if something goes wrong, so I wanted to put this out for broader testing.
If you use this mod I will be grateful for feedback and reports that will help me get this to a 1.0 status.
This mod adds an Anomalous Backpack that you can use to place an Anomalous Stash. (Right click the backpack in your inventory and select Create Stash)
This stash gives you access to the same universal stash no matter where in the zone you are.
Let's say you use an Anomalous Backpack and place down an Anomalous Stash in Rookie Village and put a shotgun and a Jellyfish artefact in that stash. You then go to Rostok and place down another Anomalous Stash there. When you open the stash in Rostok you will see the shotgun and Jellyfish because you're accessing the same universal stash you put the items in in Rookie Village.
You can buy the Anomalous Backpack from most main traders. Some may require higher goodwill to show. There are also crafting recipes for it.
You can pick up an Anomalous Stash without removing the contents as long as it's not the only one.
While carrying an Anomalous Backpack in your inventory you can cannot sprint. I added this mechanic to prevent exploiting the stash by basically carrying around infinite storage.
If you have Stash Capacities installed with Hideout Furniture the anomalous stash will have a cap of 150kg.
In general this mod works well together with Hideout Furniture mod.
The stash has a custom model and visual effect.
I recommend using Mod Organizer 2

During installation you can choose an alternative map spot icon (matches Simplified Vision UI)
You can also choose to install integration with the Fetch Task Shows Your Items QoL mod. (If you install the integration on the EFP modpack, make sure you update the addons from the QoL bundle. Link is further down)
This mod uses trader_autoinject script to add the backpack to traders. If you see a conflict simply ignore it, the scripts are identical.
Can be installed mid-save.
Not safe to uninstall mid-save. If you absolutely have to uninstall pick up all the Anomalous Stashes and then try. But no promises.
Trying to place the Anomalous Stash on top of objects from Hideout Furniture may place the stash on the floor instead of on top of the furniture object. Will work on a fix for this.

Это как Эндер сундук из Майнкрафта. Два (или больше) таких тайника поставишь на разных локациях, а у них содержимое общее: положил в тайник на одной локации вещь, она появилась и в других тайниках. Ну и также если забрать вещь то она заберётся и с других тайников

Giga pog, the QoL stalker needed
I like the concept. It makes item transport between locations much more convenient since you don't have to carry them to your destination.
I have some ideas:
1. The backpacks do not work from the start but have to be activated/linked together by putting a specific artefact inside.
2. Based on the first one, depending on what artefact you put inside you can have specific backpacks linked to each other. For example: two backpacks A and B with an Empty inside respectively link together whereas two backpacks C and D with a Gravi iside respectively link together but do not share their contents with A and B and vice versa.
This way you can have multiple stashes for different item groups (guns, armor, meds, food, junk,...) at different locations to keep order of your stuff from the beginning instead of sorting every item you take out of the anomalous backpack.
Yeah, I like the idea of this mod but it should take some real effort and/or a lot of resources to obtain and set up, since it's a VERY powerful tool to have.
What a nice mod! It would be awesome if there was some kinda quest to obtain it from the scientists maybe or something like that.
Anyway no more going back and forth to get the necessary items for a quest. 10/10

this mod is a great idea indeed, even essential for grinding mods & modpacks such as GAMMA
So I tried adding this to Gamma and it seems to conflict with the Taskboard mod. None of the scripts conflict but it causes a crash through g.script at line 518 every time I try to access the taskboard tab. I remove this mod and i can access the taskboard again. I tried it out in debug too and it still caused the crash. I'm not sure if this pops up in vanilla with these two mods loaded up or if it's just whatever script soup gamma has going on that's causing the issue but at the very least the crash disappears after disabling this mod. Really sucks cause this seems like an awesome mod and i love your other stuff!
Vanilla also has a conflict between these two mods. When trying to update a task in PDA, it crashes to the desktop.

i strongly advise you to limit the weight to 50-75kg at the most so only the most useful, essential things can be accessed this way. Example, your best sniper rifle for maps that benefit from it; weapon/armor repair kits, so you don't have to travel all the way back to main stash just because you found a better weapon or suit; ammo/mags that you rotate; food/drink reserves; a light suit for a disguise, etc.
Also, make this craftable ONLY.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion on what the limits of the stash should be.
You can easily adjust the kg cap in the items_anomstash.ltx file.
And to remove the backpack from traders you simply delete the anom_stash_trade.script file.

Models are a pain to port to Anomaly, so I probably wont add alternatives

The recipe for the backpack is added to one of the most common recipes. Should drop from dead stalkers randomly. Some modlists you can buy the recipe at certain traders or mechanics.

Hey, I ran into a weird bug. Playing GAMMA, new save and iTheon Taskboard just crashes UNLESS I interact with an Anomalous Stash first. Then it's fine. Here's the log:

I'll check it, I religiously watch moddb for mod updates, so usually I'm up-to-date on everything, but I might have overlooked it.

It would be interesting if you are be able to run with it, but only when the stashes are empty or not deployed.

I found a trick, guys. By dropping the backpack, starting a sprint, and picking up the backpack along the way, you can avoid the speed penalty. You're welcome
