Mad Mags is a cheap rebrand (=a selected flavour repack) of Ohotnik's Anomaly Magazines Extended plus a few great enhancements to gameplay by artifax, some by me including new icons for magazines in the player's loadout.
I've tried to make it easier to enjoy these addons in one pack and to make them a bit more immersive.
Ohotnik handed over his files to me. Some of his work is not included in here and may follow later (BaS adaptation). Let's settle Anomaly versions first.

What do I need to set for ammocheck to learn to count the number of cartridges in the store if the addon anomaly magazines is installed
In the modified Zukuu's ammo_check.script, there is different code that checks if it is a weapon w/magazines or without. If it is a mag weapon, it does only an estimate of how full the magazine is. You can cut that code down to treat every weapon as a non-magazine weapon.
Magazines used to break Anomaly when you put scope on any guns(this is with BaS addon)

You're not the first asking this. I don't usually do compatibility patches for addons that I haven't got installed, because I can't test for basic functionality.
Out of curiosity, why Mags Extended has been banned? When I came back for 1.5.1 I was ever wondering why that mod completely disappeared
I don't know myself, Ohotnik left me the files as he had the troubles you mentioned plus enough IRL stuff to do. For me, magazines in Anomaly was wuut's AM + Ohotnik's AME from the start, always.
I have a question ?, in the scripts folder there is a file "wuut_mags_CMRext" and so!. This file has its own functionality?, Or are these lines to combine ?.

Just install the files in order. CMRext script contains additional functions that are needed by a modified ui_item.script (more verbose information when mouse over outfit).
wuut_mags.script is part of Anomaly Magazines, and wuut_mags_CMRext.script is part of this addon. Both need to be in gamedata\scripts.
Hello Bro! Nice addon but here is a little problem. When I attach scopes and sights, it crashes immediately when I release the left mouse button to attach the sight/scope. I paly vanilla RC19 with ONLY this addon. Help.

2) Have you downloaded the latest version of _this_ addon and removed all previous content? See the included readme for installing everything in order.

It happened when I was in the Vehicle yard in Cordon when I picked up an AK-74 from the inventory of the bandit. It happend right when I right clicked the AK-74.

I only noticed now that you replied and your issue wasn't addressed. There's going to be a new Anomaly Magazines + a new Cheap Magazines Rebrand version by another author soon.
It's possible that this error has bin fixed in the most recent Anomaly Magazines (don't take my word for it). I have updated CMR to the newest, it's just awaiting upload authorisation and will be here any moment!

Or do you mean outfit information when you mouse over?
Information when you hover the cursor on equipment
Magazines information is in ui_item.script, line 538 (author wuut), depends on wuut_mags.script
Outfit information also, from line 389. Authors wuut and artifax. Depends on wuut_mags_CMRext.script (artifax), which wraps info from wuut_mags.script.

Thank you. Please note that this hasn't been updated for anything beyond RC19 and will not (see my reply to TalDoMula) be in the near future.
Besides, you will find this in the wuut_loadout.ltx file which belongs to wuut's Anomaly Magazines (and is not part of this addon). You'll find that magazines are divided into small, medium and large ones. Every outfit (see that file) has a capacity for different numbers of each category.
wuut is back updating Anomaly Magazines, it's time to finally update yours too (or maybe not but the new versions fixed a lot of game breaking bugs)
I just received a PM about the same topic. My laptop is running on onboard gfx since my 3D card died some time in December, I'm hoping others will pick up. Can't do much as I can't test anything.
