All tweaks are disabled by default.
The full edition includes the mod the Unified Texture Pack (a.k.a. John P, original installer found here). Please see the included readme file for more information. As one sale ends, GOG kicks up another, launching a few new Square Enix titles alongside slashed prices for all the rest in their catalogue. Square Enix games have had a decent modding history across some titles, and so if you're having trouble deciding what to pick up, here's five games on sale and a mod for each!
Just Cause 2's modding scene is dominated, largely, by a multiplayer mod for the game, but that doesn't mean other creators haven't taken a crack at it themselves. With gameplay that holds up well even in the face of two sequels, the only thing that might be holding some people back is the graphics, which have been outpaced by the follow-ups. For those, this mod'll help smooth the transition and give you a reason to revisit this chaotic classic.
If you need massive battles, Supreme Commander has you covered. If you need them lag-free and on a reasonably old machine, then the vanilla game was not the best place to look - but now, due to community engine rewrites and some technical marvelling, the LOUD PROJECT (which can only ever be written in all caps) lets you go louder than ever with gigantic battles that barely slow modern PCs thanks to numerous optimisations and custom-made maps specifically designed to let players go ballistic with army sizes.
Whilst Supreme Commander 2 was a great game on its own, the scaled-down complexity and size of encounters from the previous game for the sake of accessibility made some long-term fans of the franchise lose interest in the follow-up. Modders have taken the game to task over the years in an attempt to restore some of that magical mayhem that made grand strategy fans fall in love with SupCom, and the Revamp Expansion Mod, with all its experimentals and new structures, is one of the best.
For many, the Revision mod is the definitive patch of choice, but there are quite a few new additions made by the mod that old-school fans might have difficulty with, even if a lot can be disabled eventually through a series of customization menus. For those fancying more out-the-box gleam without too much concern for modularity, Deus Ex: Transcended preserves the original vision of the game as closely as possible, mostly introducing bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements intended to provide the same feel, refined.
Deus Ex: Invisible War might not have stuck the landing, but as a part of the Deus Ex line-up it still has its own fanbase who love it despite its flaws, one of them being visual presentation, which has aged questionably over the years. There's an HD mod for practically everything, though, and Invisible War is no exception, with the Deus Ex 2 Visible Upgrade mod expanding the visual flair of the game and giving you a little more eye candy with your transhuman adventures.
And that's it for our breakdown of some modding representation in GOG's latest franchise sale, which runs from now until July 15th. If you're hurting for more Square Enix mods, we've got an editorial here from a while back that might scratch that itch. What are your thoughts, and did I miss any wicked mods for these Squeenix titles?
Code patch, tweak tool and the Unified Texture Pack. First release, 1.2.0.
Code patch and tweak tool only - for the Unified Texture Pack get the Full Edition instead. First release, 1.2.0.
Command line tools for manipulating Thief 3 (and, in some cases, Deus Ex 2) files.
Great mod. My only issue is with the Alex Denton faces; they're both worse than the default textures in terms of liveliness. Male Alex looks like a crack addict and Female Alex looks bugged eyed and confused.
Recommend to players: turn off the new faces but keep everything else.
Could you port the borderless widescreen mode from Sneaky Upgrade?
Very solid mod
however full version increase loading times drastically
it is kind of worth it for visuals, but damn this maps are small xD
if i could jump-travel like from greasel pits to emerald suites
something like this (fallout 1 and 2 had it in 90s)
Anyway great mod, keep the game playable at all, thanks.

Is there some way to get at least one of the old debug options to work with this mod? None of them work now. I'm using GOG version 1.2.0 on Win 10 Pro 21H2.
There are three debug techniques that I am aware of for this game:
1. The debug console, enabled by editing an ini file and setting either T=Talk or Tilde=Talk, then hitting that key in-game opens a one-line debug console where commands can be typed in.
2. DebugMenu - edit different ini files to create a partially-transparent menu in lower-right corner.
3. Use the trainer from CheatHappens.com
Sadly, *none* of these options work with Visible Upgrade installed.
1. is unusable because the console line simply does not appear when hitting the Talk key
2. DebugMenu partially works; the menu is visible, and I can click on it to descend into the menu, but I cannnot back out of the menu, nor reset it to default; backspace does not work (though it used to, when I previously played the game)
3. The CheatHappens trainer simply cannot detect that the game is running, so it is not usable.
Does the author of this mod, or anyone else, know any way to get at least one of these debug options working again?

snobel Do you think it's possible to patch exe to avoid problem with nvcontainer.exe? Game crush when Nvidia Shadowplay overlay is enabled and it's quite annoying to disable it for playing one game.
Not likely, I'm afraid - unless someone could explain to me exactly what is wrong, and it was an easy fix. :(
Try installing dgVoodoo2 or a similar D3D wrapper, I guess there's a chance it might help.
Thanks for the answer. Game have conflict with Nvidia overlay - this issue occurs also with another overlays, which can be checked with analyzing wait chain in task manager. When overlay is on, game crashes while loading, main menu works, I guess because it's using dx2launcher. Unfortunately I don't know more about technical side of this problem :( It's annoying because Nvidia doesn't allow to disable overlay in selected programs, it's global on/off.
EDIT I tried wrappers, but issue still occurs :(
How does the John P texture pack compare to this one: Gamefront.com ?
I'm sure that file is the orginal texture pack installer. The textures are the same, but it's much easier to configure in this version, plus you get some additional options.
