Oh yeh, Chrono Trigger had great ingame music. Well it is one of my favorite RPG's to date. :D

Quake! Haven't any of ye heard Trent Reznor's Quake soundtrack? VERY atmospheric, VERY adding to the game.

I think Jeremy Soule and Frank Klepacki ar the best game music makers. Odd that none of ther games ar on the list.

I heard UT2k4's new versions of the old UT Menu and HyperBlast music... and they are nothing like the originals...

The best in the vote: UT. i love mod tracked music if done well like some of the tunes there... but the original U had some nice tunes too.

but my favourite is not on the list: Timeshock Pro Pinball... nearly all tunes in there great... really makes playing this game an audiovisual pleasure ^_^

Resident Evil: Outbreak. It has a soundtrack worth owning.

UT for me out of the list, but overall, it would be the music from Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Silent Hill 3. I have audio soundtracks for both of them. :D

Quake deserves to win for its NiN inspired musics.

I don't believe that UT is winning. C'mon, that's like mostly techno music, for g-d sakes! Go Quake!

It's too bad that NIN bowed out on the music score for Doom3. That would've been the ****.

I'm not a fan of "techno", but while playing UT it made the music sound better, I mean, I just matched the atmosphere of the game, and that's what it's about. :thumbup:

All of you forgot the best music ever in a game. Michael Giacchino's soundtracks for every game in the MOH series are constantly evolving and getting better. The music fit the games mood to a T, and even sounds beautiful on it's own. It created an atmosphere which is unparrelled in every other game I know. I should know, I have every released OST for the MOH series, the Lost World soundtrack on the playstation, and I even ripped the music off of MOH:AA

In case you didn't know, MOH stands for Medal of Honor. Oh yeah, he also did the soundtrack to call of duty, which is next up on my list of OST's to buy.

The best in-game music, in my opinion, belongs to these titles:

- Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption

What happened to Painkiller, it has the greatest in-game music.

The original UT takes the cake, awesome music. I still hum songs from that game from when I played it and Tactical-Ops like crazy.
