I voted for C&C: Generals because the mod that I'm making on it is doing better than my ill-fated mod "KN-KF: TOTAL WAR" which was based on the HL engine.

i say hl... because hl2 will suck like hell if nobody mods it over... it's just so ******* annoying how one company can **** up one single game more than ut2k3 is ****** up already... not even mentioning stream-sux...

Hands down the UT engine has always been the most technical and versatile engine made to this date. HL, and even the new upcoming "source" engine still doesn't have the potential the UT engine has. Not only that but the support from Epic being by far the best mod supporting developers, what else is there. Think about it.
Not only that but, anyone who knows a bit of html and basic configurations of scripting can mod HL's stale 5 year old quake modified engine.

i donno what people see on ut! it has such a cubersome and useless scripting language, such a crappy engine and is nothing but bloatware... not that hl would be much better but ut the best? no... die like the rest, :lol:
