It's just over a year ago that I was announcing the release of The Final Frontier, in the understanding that it would be our final release for Armada 3.
How things can change.

OrionSlaver here with some important news you'll want to be adding to your calendars. With testing and tweaking and bug fixing nearing completion, we've finally decided on a release date for the full and final release of Star Trek Aramada 3: The Final Frontier 1.1 and Nemesis.
The official release date is....*drum roll*
MARCH 30!
That's right, in a week's time you'll be able, at your leisure, to download the full and complete versions of both the updated Final Frontier, courtesy of Team Ambarenya, and our new Nemesis expansion developed by Team Bane. We hope you enjoy both the unique game experiences they have to offer.
We'd like to thank everyone for your help during the open beta phase. Your tips, heads up and suggestions have all been absolutely invaluable. It's been said before, but Armada 3 has always been blessed with one of the most dedicated and supportive audiences on ModDb. This is as much your mod as it is ours and you have our lasting gratitude.
We'll be back in a week's time with the release and an update on our plans for the future.

D'oh! I'd forgotten that the most recent release was technically a beta, and thus didn't bother checking or contributing to forums *face palm*. I was just happy to have a new version!
You must've already heard from other folks about the 'looping sounds' glitches for Fed sol stations and the Romulan griffin classes though, right?

Super-psyched for the upcoming release either way. I'd have to say this mod probably remains my purest form of gaming comfort food, even all these years on. Also not an exaggeration to say that I'd be nowhere NEAR the Trek fan I am today if it weren't for Armada 3...

Hmm I wonder whats next for you guys. The Stellaris mod getting cancelled wasnt that much of a stab, since Horizons is amazing, but Axanar getting cancelled still stings a lot.
Anyway, whether its Trek or not: thank you for one of the greatest mods ever made and all the best to you in the future!
