Nobody will be chosen against his will. Each group-leader-to-be will be first asked if he accepts the rank. ;-) Even then he can resign anytime he decides to.
These polls serve only as a popularity indicator. People you voted for most will be asked first.
Hmm, if you see yourself in the list above, you probably want to ask one important question. It'll be answered now:
The main and most important task of the group leader is simple: to keep the group alive! So the minimal input will be only un-linking offtopic texts (news, articles) and deleting inappropriate media, and electing new leaders if the present are inactive for more than 2 months (and they don't reply to e-mails/PMs). It's the minimal required contribution to the group.
The polls will be closed around the beginning of the new month (after a week).
4 new group leaders will be chosen.

The above list consists of nicknames of people responsible enough, and either great modders, great modellers, great mappers or just great mod leaders, or at least people knowing how to deal with spam or other junk.
Probably there are some others, which I overlooked = (, but they won't be missed later. Keep me informed if somebody important was overlooked, he still has chances to be one of the group leaders or (later on) moderators.

I propose something new for Feillyne: To be eligible the person must have their own mod.
before everyone disagrees with me, you can't be a leader of a group if you don't have other experience, not to mention people who lead a mod deserve it more than some random concept artist (even tho i realize without you guys mods wouldn't exist, it's just mod leaders are usually skilled in multiple things whereas other members may not be.)
for example i can code really good, i can map a bit and even model, im also leader of my own mod and co-leader of another one, as well as being a member of other mods and on top of that i'm a founder of GRANS.
which reminds me: I'm glad you reconsidered that "age limit" BS :D (also log onto GRANS once in awhile)
Well, a bit of democracy and pure consideration of skills compelled me to avoid taking the age limit too seriously. ;-) (And yes, still thinking that both children and adults can do stupid things anyway, so it isn't a factor that important.)
PS On GRANS I'm not often, err, the real life gets in. Only on Moddb a bit active (but mods not updated for few days! = /).

I'm proud im in the top 4 with them actually they're the best (BTW sgtmyers if you read this, epic maps for ZH! could you make some more? :P) i was serious about that last point as well, more maps plz?

No, a poll is probably the best. ;-) A comittee would require to choose some people to be this comittee, that's the problem. There are just people now, without meddling with it that much.
If I just elected some people to be group leaders... it probably wouldn't be fair. Now it isn't either, but a bit fairer than it would be in that case.
