Ok, first things first.
This report is more just an update on whats been going on for the past 2 months.
I did resume work on this after the Christmas demo release, but I didn't get much done before I had an offer for a job interview around the middle of January. Several actually. This was a big thing, considering that I had been unemployed for 7 months (and my finances were starting to look kinda dire).
I then got a 2nd interview for one of the jobs, and ultimately got the job towards the end of January.
I then had to move places end of January/Start of February, since my flat contract was about to expire, and the job wasn't in the city I was currently living in.
And I started work not long after.
Fast forward 6 weeks, and here we are now. I haven't done any work on TZC since moving, because life has been a bit unsettled, I've had to get used to the public transport, and I wanted to focus on work, and have as few distractions as possible.
But now everything's settling into place. My job and my finances look secure, and I can afford myself a few extra distractions, so at some point I'll be restarting work on TZC and some indie game projects I was working on. The only downside is that my only free time is the weekends, and after a week on debugging code, testing SQL statements, and enduring (rare) crashes, sometimes the last thing I feel like doing is spending time doing it again for another 2 days.
So in the mean time, I'm going to replan my development cycle, since my old one had 30+ odd hours a week allocated to working on this mod because of my unemployment. This will mean some of the more ambitious features will be cut or trimmed back, and feature implementation plan will change. With my current free time, I'm looking to allocated about 10 hours a week to my various projects.
I'll try and get out an update on something soon. Might be towards the end of the month.
Until then,
Happy Stalking Stalkers!

I hope it goes well and I look forward to any future builds you find the time to do, good luck.
congrats to your employement!
Take you time, dont rush anything or push yourself to hard- this will just lead to bad feelings at some side (work, mod, sociallife).
wish you a good time
