Take command of the New Republic, Imperial Remnant and Empire of the Hand in order to gain control of the Star Wars galaxy after the fall of the Emperor at Endor. Each faction features its own unique new unit rosters, tech trees, advantages and disadvantages. Will you use diplomacy to spread your message of democracy and support your fleet with aid from other galactic powers as the New Republic, take advantage of the speed and vast information archives of the Empire of the Hand, or crush those who would oppose you with the superweapons of the Empire?

Awesome. So, am I understanding right that diplomacy will play a factor in Ascendancy? Does this have something to do with the "aid from other galactic powers"?
i think they just mean that since rebellion includes diplomacy stuff, that if you get high enough reputation with another empire they will send support ships to help you sometimes. that is my guess, dont know if they are making a more advanced support system

I Loved the SOGE mod. Now they have some Competition. Can't wait to see the differences between both mods.
YES! Can't wait! hmmm fun thought here, minor nations? like in some games like the total war series, they always seemed to make the game more fun in my opinion
Non-playable factions were a large part of our previous mod largely inspired by the Total War series, so while we're mostly focusing on the 3 main playable factions for now, we definitely want to diversify in the future.
oh cool, I never thought about that. is it gonna be kinda like a few other mods have that have randomly spawned planets under NPC control that dont actually try to spread out?
