Final Rush is now available on GamersGate!
Final Rush is a sci-fi survival shooter which pits the player up against massive swarms of enemies. It can be played alone or with up to 3 friends in Co-Op LAN games. The enemies come in growing waves, with new enemies being added every few waves.
Killing enemies earns you points, which can be spent on additional health and ammo, more weapons, and upgrades.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The project has stalled a little bit... We can't seem to get any Indie sites to pick up news stories about the game! We really want to keep working on the game and expanding it, but nobody is buying the game, meaning we don't have the funding to continue expanding and improving the game.
Please, help us out and buy an early copy of the game on GamersGate, or if you can't or don't want to buy the game just yet, but still want to support us, vote for us on Greenlight! The game itself is still a little unfinished, but that's the best we can do until the game gets some community interest.
You can help us out even more by telling your friends. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Any mention on Twitter, Facebook, or any social media of your choice is literally as good as giving us money right now. Comment on forums, mention us on Reddit, anything and everything helps us out a bunch!
We want to make good games that gamers can enjoy time after time; with their friends, with their family, alone, or with complete strangers. We want to make the best games possible, and give you a good value for your money.
Please give us a chance! We promise you won't regret it.
And please, and feedback you have, good or especially bad, let us know!
Congratulations :D
Thanks! I hope we can generate some interest in the game so we can keep working on it.
Congratz guys, good piece of work :D
Thanks! Your compliments are appreciated!
From dev to dev, your video dosnt really impress me. There are pretty good environment graphics, but for the rest ? Enemies look like the same type with different skins. If theyre different, show it in your video. They all just run towards you and die. Weapons feel very similar, and not enough hit feedback. Get hitmarkers atleast & proper camera shake, (score numbers?) theres no way around that in 2013.
Also your video dosnt show any ingame/outgame progression. If you have upgrades and a proper metagame, show it. It looks like you can just join a match and shoot random robots. Put a better video out, and work a bit on the feedback part.
Thanks for the feedback. In terms of the enemies, yeah - they are mostly the same; each one has different gameplay, but we had to make do with limited resources; we had a flying robot working in beta, but costs began to get out of hand, and we temporarily delayed it.
We had more robot variants planned, but we simply don't have the resources to make it happen yet.
Right now, there isn't much to the game beyond joining and shooting - which is why we're trying to update it and add more content. We had an armor customization system in the works, but it's not smoothly functional yet.
And yeah, the video doesn't show much. It was just a teaser for early content, and wasn't intended on being more - but then we had to release the game as is. We are working on a replacement though. :)
I'll spread it around and do what I can. How about a release on IndieGameStand? Maybe even a feature? Might give you a good popularity boost. ;]
Anything you can do to help spread the word helps us more than most people realize... so we really appreciate it.
We were planning on updating the game once or twice before selling it on other markets, but considering how things have been going, we'll probably start branching out soon.
Congratz guys good game :D
Best of luck guys I am honestly surprised you guys aint Greenlit yet! I am sure you will get there soon.
We were one of the earliest games on greenlight, but we fell into the trap of the game not being good enough to capture people's interest. We blew our one shot at a good introduction - the game wasn't half of what is was now... but we needed the feedback from getting the game out to people, and we made some hefty revisions to the game.
Try adding a story to the game, add some characters to keep the gamers interested to see what happens next, it could capture their attention and make them want to share it making a bigger audience for the game.
We can't. While we had a story planned (along with a lot of other features) the community never took much interest in Final Rush, and we were never able to get the support to expand it.
We can do really high quality stuff for just a tiny amount of money - but we'd need at least a few hundred people to support the game for us to add anything to it at this point.
