What is Release 1.5?
R1.5 is essentially what we had planned to use for a closed beta test. It does not include the UN but does include all of the bug fixes, refinements and additions to the mod since R1. If you saw our R2 Preview Article that gives a good overview of what exactly is in R1.5.
In addition R1.5 also includes the new map 'Comanche Down', the GOI faction overhaul and the IDF faction overhaul.
Mentioned in the IDF preview is their new unit, the Thel drone. Here are some screens of it in action;

We do have several videos up for R1.5. The first two show the Ifrit tower and Thel drone in action while the third one is a short tutorial video with our team member RenegadeNukes explaining the core gameplay of MEC2 (and the changes to it since our first release).

great!!!!!............. if only I could play it. For some reason it seems that the mod requires both the 1.0 and the new 1.5 versions. Unfortunately the 1.0 install seems to not recognize my C&C3 install. This could be because its on Steam. Some insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
It doesn't require release 1.0 at all. If you have problems still, hit up our technical support message board on our site and we'll get you sorted out.
