The Zone of Alienation mod is an adaptation of the renowned AMK mod. It is built on top of a specialized variant of AMK that uses a magazine system. From this premise, it has expanded to aim to include the following:

It has been officially 2 years since I released this mod, on October 31st, 2011, and it has gradually improved since then. Along the way I have had plenty of help, and I would like to thank everyone who has assisted me with this project. I severely doubt I would have accomplished much of what I have without continued support from other modders and the community, and for that I am thankful.

The first time I uploaded this mod, on Oct, 31st, 2011 I had to deal with a freak snowstorm that left me without power, and I had to contact the admins days later to get it authorized. Last year, around this time, I had to deal with hurricane Sandy. So far today, nothing has happened, so for once I may be having a good anniversary of this mod's release.

So today, Me and TKGP are releasing a small patch full of updates in celebration of ZoA's second birthday. Most of these things are small changes, I did not manage to get the level_changer screwery done yet, but that might come some time soon. In any case, I'm not worried, since I already changed the ballistics for weapons, and made another small edit to the all.spawn that adds a new weapon.

I have some new things planned soon, some of them may even be surprises.

I played an older version of ZoA like a year ago or so and it was wonderful. Coming from boring easy Complete I had a lot of fun with your mod, the difficulty was awesome but I could not finish my game due to personal reasons. Still, I am tracking your mod and I like all the updates you are doing. I'm sure I will play ZoA again although I'd like to play OGSE first. Thanks for all your efforts :)

What I'm about to say is coming from a guy that is DLing the mod right now. I'm very happy to see a mod for Shadow of Chernobyl that is only 2 years old. To me that means this game still has its fans. Just from reading your mod's features, I really look forward to playing this mod and I hope it blows my expectations from playing Oblivion Lost 2.2, out of the water and around the world twice.
