The Zone of Alienation mod is an adaptation of the renowned AMK mod. It is built on top of a specialized variant of AMK that uses a magazine system. From this premise, it has expanded to aim to include the following:

I've decided to paste this here since I've had it in a text file for some time now, It's basically what I've used to outline the detector types and the artifacts they pick up, it also contains some explanations of quests that are planned to be added.
I have 5 "families" so far.
MF / hard X-ray bipolar = springboard family
Electrostatic voltmeter / magnetic field detector.
There might also be ones that put out psi radiation but I'm not including that.
EHF = 30 - 300 GHz - Ka band receiver
MF = 300kHz - 3 MHz - jury-rigged AM radio
jellyfish, resonates at 400kHz and 5EHz
Springboard = MF / HX
Mincer = EHF / SX or Extremely High Frequency radio waves (microwaves) / Soft X-rays.
EHF = Ka band receiver.
Most detectors will cost between 1000 and 5000, except for the M.G.G. detector, which was made by scientists and it costs 15k.
Night Star quest, on game start, Sidorovich, = MF/HX detector.
Dog's ammo crate quest:
Bandits made off with one of our crates of ammunition during the night, and hid it in the old factory, we need you to go over there and get it back.
-Somewhere in a derelict factory, is the ammo crate, on the floor or outside near the back of the complex. Bandits guard the factory, on the upper floors, with mosins, SKS's, and AK-47s, waiting for Soyuz to attempt to take it back.
-First mission in the new area, dispatch the bandits and return with the case. (which weighs 28kg.)
