ZombieMod takes a unique approach on the Zombie Apocalypse by putting it in the perspective of a military commander, not a survivor. Since it is 2 years after the first infections, resistance on the east coast is organized, resulting in battles rather than small groups fighting for survival.

The first complete tree for the survivors, the Protectors of the Homeland adds the US Army/Army National Guard.
oooooh, is that a downed Blackhawk? (how did Zombies take down a blackhawk?)
Propably ran out of fuel, had too many passangers, had an engine failure, or the pole-jumper mentioned earlier.
How about there was an infected on-board that turned during flight?
Maybe the helicopter was flying low, and there was a zombie pole-jumper on the roof of that building?

if zombies can pole jump... I'm worried that the standard population control fences won't work so well... next we'll get zombie 100m sprinters and freestyle/butterfly swimming zombie champs

too many people wanted on the helicopter to get out of the danger and the weight brought the helicopter down
OR maybe there were guns on the choppa and the predator attacked them!
