Zombie mod 2142 is a mod inspired by the deathbybinary BF2 zombie mod.
the time is 2143. after PAC leaders decided that the EU would wipe them out, they created a injection for their soldiers, to make them more powerful. it didn't. the injection made them crave flesh and blood. the PAC leaders where not ready and where overpowered by their fellow soldiers who where infected. the EU and many civilians have called this a plague or a infection. now its up to all the EU soldiers to defend themselves and civilians from this new and deadly threat.

Ok, Sorry i have not updated anything for a while. Im very busy with school, and the mod has been pushed back in my qnue of things to do. but never fear! its almost to the top, and later today ile be working on it. The new version is around the corner, and after a lot of work, its shaping up nicely. hopefully I can get some background audio and stuff. I dont like to post videos of the mod for 2 reasons. 1. i have limited bandwith, so it takes forever for a quality upload, and B i want people to download the mod, not watch it. Ive been tweaking with the kits for a while now, and is somewhat close to the weapon pickup system. hopefully.

I got this mod a few days ago but have had some trouble with the fact that singleplayer doesn't work because there arn't any spawn points, and i have to play in co-op multiplayer in local games. and even then, i can't reduce the number of enemies and allies, and my computer can't handle 72 players in a game all at once. It seems like a great mod if i wasn't lagging as much durring play, but just two things that could be worked on in the next version if it's being planned.
the mod was meant for COOP, and not singleplayer. The python we use to script the teamswich on death does not work on singleplayer, because of a line of code that we cannot remove without singleplayer crashing.
About the number of bots. go to your zombie mod directory, and look for a file named AI. open it, and look for AIdefault.ai open this with notepad.
scroll down to the line with
aiSettings.setMaxNBots 70
switch that to whatever number you please.
And there is a new version planned. its almost nearing completion, just that ive been very busy.
do you think you could make the mod for mac if possible please?
Hey bud if you have a mac ( as do i ) unzip it and put it into ur Mods folder ( If it has a installer then use a windows to install it into a folder than place it in ur Mods folder ) if you need more help finding it just send me a message ( i havent tried it with this mod yet )
Well, im not sure about the MAC platform, and its compatability with mods, but if someone with a mac could help port it over, sure why not?
i need some help, when i die i cant change back to eu, it says maximum squad reached? what does this mean, please help
one of the first things we added was a team swicher on death. basicly, if a zombie kills you, your one of them. for good. or untill u end the game or swich map.
max squads means that you cannot create more squads. 0.6 will be removing some unnecesary hud junk, like that. and kill messages. also, for everyone: make the rounds per map 1. if u dont it will be all wierd and glichy.
Tactical and comunity version is the best^^
Note that it wont be until 0.7 or 0.8
the App is proving to be a bit more difficult than i expected.
well, its made for COOP play, so you whould start a coop match, multiplayer -> local -> create and hit conquest coop.
