This mod is intened to look somewhat like the game you know well, only with an all new feel.
When you take controll of the pelican and fly a support run for your buddies in that HOG on the ground, blow up those rebels in a trench with an ANVIL-II rocket, and do a victory circle around your prey,
you will realize that the Large battlefield style multiplayer battlefield gaming of BF2/BF2142 combined with the looks of the futuristic depiction of the year 2552 will make your adrenaline spike!

The BF2552 BF2142 Release has been Taken under the wing of Iron Sight Studios, There it will get more attention, BF2552 is still in a state of cryo-sleep :sarcastic laugh: BF2552 was originaly intended for bf2, although without a full time team it made no progress, After hearing about a possible BF3 release (www.enterBF3.com) BF2552 has had renewed attention as a new and final chance for the mod to see light. I hope microsoft doesnt go gay on halo modders for like the 4th time and shut this mod down..
This comment replied to this other guys comment that had to do with what I said, but it was deleted during the change from moddb v3 to v4. I thought I just might clarify that I wasn't attacking this mod.

Nice dude you got the year halo was based on right and it looks hella awesome. Im getting this as soon as its out, unless it is out.....
As much as I would like to see this mod, I think it has been postponed until the have a solid BF2 release, which could be awhile still..... :(

They aren't stealing content from halo, and if they were trying to compete with MS, they've already lost, if the sales of Crackdown are anything to go by. (1 copy of Crackdown=1 invitation to halo 3 beta)
