Boarding is featured in Alliance at War. Corvettes and light frigates can be boarded with a Rebel shuttle.
Of course however, YVAW could totally improve this.

I legit stared at my screen for a long time contemplating suicide once I saw that picture.
More than one galaxy in a GC scenario?
That one idea of grouping multiple warships into one selectable and purchasable unit? (Basically like two CR 90's, one Nebulon, but act as one whole unit in a squad formation)
Diplomacy? (I know Thrawn's Revenge is already working on this. but you never know...)
Peace treaties, cease-fires and alliances between two or more separate factions?
All of that is already coded into our mod, this is something... better.....
